This is one of the best post-metal songs ever written. Such an epic and moving piece.

One of their best songs, and one of the best post-metal songs ever.

I remember when I was a teenager I discovered these guys and had a bunch of it on my computer really enjoyed listening to them from time to time, then when night I came home stoned outta my gourd like sitting on the moon looking at earth levels of stoned, we had an old computer in our front room that was only really good enough for music and beside the desk was a couch I plugged my headphones on and had my stoned teenage mind melted and I wonder if the nostalgia holds up today

This song has meant so much to me through so many journeys and lessons in life, it keeps coming back. It's pure peace, in the most primal form. The opposite of life is not death, but immortality.

Incredible song. The build up, the raw violence, the delicacy of the flute and rythmic at the end. Simply stunning. A masterpiece like no other.

a helicpoter shot at a long human chain, strecthing for miles and miles, the whole east coast of north america, people holding hands, slowly, majestically, solemnly, proudly, with pockets full of stones, walking into the sea, to drown.. and then the great silence after, just birds, waves, bodies floating on the surface...

LOL I was there too. I photographed their guitar player and Decibel Magazine put my photo in the following month's issue on the Pelican write up. It was a fucking great show.

The perfect title and song to make a video with One Piece when it will end.

I never thought this was big enough. But I insist on stuff being larger than all of the universes combined, so maybe that's on me.
