I love how honest women have become about pregnancy and postpartum. Growing up, I thought pregnancy was a simple "one size fits all" type of experience. I’m learning so much from these honest and open conversations even though I'm nowhere near ready for a baby.
I never experienced any hardships or any of these things that ppl talk about (today). I had 4 natural births and vomit twice, when I was pregnant with my first, other than that I was just pregnant, went into labor & delivered. No depression, anxiety or stretch marks afterwards either, which I’m very grateful for.
@@laracroft1063 well then consider yourself blessed 🙌 because everyone postpartum experience is completely different…I had depression and anxiety and postpartum was absolutely awful I’m traumatized that’s why I’m never having kids
@@brendacastro3976, I do consider myself very blessed. I’ve heard stories, and feel so bad for the women who have had hard times. It all sounds so scary. I really feel for ppl with depression in every day life, period.
always so happy to see new videos from you! I’m not even a momma, but I love all the mommy/baby content, and being able to watch y’all grow as a family 🥹🫶🏻
Actually going through the comment session and seeing the love y’all are showing naz is making me so emotional and I’m sure one day I’m going to get genuine love and audience on the UA-cam space😢
So excited for you. As a (two times) C-section mom you honestly don’t need much for recovery. I would recommend nursing pillows and loose clothing for immediately after. If you wear pants, make sure they are high waisted. That is KEY. Praying you get the delivery you want though 🤍🫶🏽
On the topic of pumping, make sure you get sized for your correct flange size!! It makes such a HUGE difference on your milk output, supply and comfort when pumping. I didn’t learn about that until further in my journey and I wish I learned sooner. Milky mama is an awesome Instagram page to follow for all the nursing/pumping tips! She even shows you how to size yourself at home! I hope your breastfeeding/pumping journey is as positive as possible 💗
I needed this sooooo bad! Thank you for all the info on the breast feeding tips and equipment. I’m a first time mom and I have 8 weeks left until she gets here and I had no idea where to begin for postpartum supplies and breastfeeding!
GURLL I am the person who swears by it I love that three tier cart girl , used it for postpartum or to make like breastfeeding easier and anything I used a lot for baby , I just like that it has wheels and you can move it anywhere ! Hope it makes your journey easier too. Praying for you , you are in your last stretch I know you are so excited to meet your twins🤍
I successfully breastfed for 14 months. The best advice I can give you is supply and demand. The more you feed/pump, the more your body will make. It gets easiest after 2 months and a good routine. Can’t wait to see the twins 💕
I'm 32 weeks and currently nesting and definitely grateful for this video. I'm having a planned c-section so recovery is a little different but you got some great stuff. Wishing you a safe and smooth delivery. Can't wait to see the twins.
Just wanted to let you know. Your videos have given me so much peace. I’m due in February with my first baby. And you’ve helped me so much with making sure I’m not feeling unprepared. I love the women you’ve become. You’re so open and comfortable with your journey. You’re helping us out so much.
Hi !! Also in my second pregnancy I’m 25 ( I’m fairly healthy) My 1st pregnancy was an emergency c section so naturally I’m doing a scheduled c section due to prior complications. My advice for pp for a c section is loose clothes!! The recovery is hard with a new born but definitely manageable. For me I did bleed but not too much after we went home and your at the hospital for about 3-4 days so bring extra clothes just in case!! Congratulations on your two ❤
completely off topic but wow your eyebrows 😍 i remember in some videos from a few years back, you’d mention that you had really uneven brows but you’ve come such a long way since then! they literally look amazinggg 😍😍
Saving this so I can rewatch it when I'm pregnant and expecting some day!! 😂😭Praying for a safe delivery, healthy twins, and a smooth sailing post partum journey 💕 Love you.
You are absolutely glowing girl! I wish I would've known about some of these postpartum items 4 months ago when I first had my baby. You were super helpful. Definitely going to keep this in mind for when I have another baby. Congrats boo ❤️❤️
Hey Naz! Labor and delivery nurse here. Everything you got for a vaginal birth postpartum, can be used for a c-section recovery as well! Only difference is if you have a c-section, you will have an incision you would need to keep an eye on. The nurses can go over any additional information you will need if you have a c-section. I'd just have a small pillow to hold on your belly when laughing/couching to prevent the incision from opening.
I was a post partum nurse for years and you really don’t need much else for a c section recovery! you’re still gonna bleed (a lot of people are surprised by that!) a belly band helps a lot when walking. just be prepared to take it very easy and not carry vaughn around. either way the goal is healthy babies and a healthy naz❤️ good luck babe
I can honestly say watching your mommy videos is so helpful. Not a mom yet but there’s so much info to consume and helpful suggestions that I can say has been great to have access too. Of course there’s so much more to it but thank you for sharing 💜
Nesting mode is the best🥰...love all the prepping that goes with it too and then when these little ones arrive 🥰. Naz you carry your pregnancies so beautifully and can't wait to see the little👶👶
I’m more excited than you! Twins omg I can’t! I just found out I can’t have kids but seeing u have twins makes me so happy! Ur the best mom and will be even more good!
Naz I love your videos! Love your style and how genuine you are. Best influencer ever! Drama free and successful. Wish you the best delivery experience and can't wait to meet the babies!!! 💕
can’t wait to see the twins and hear their names! I’m praying your delivery goes safely and smoothly and the twins are healthy as can be!!! Sending tons of love and good vibes your guys’ way!! 💜
For c section recovery I highly recommend the fridamom padsicles but put on your incision ! It helps so much with pain. Lidocaine patches, take your pain meds on time! And also the peri bottle is a huge help because you can’t bend. My placenta pills helped so much with healing and energy and pain and milk supply. Good luck and I pray for a safe delivery 💜
Pumping ahead of feedings with the hands free pump is a GAME CHANGER! Pumping while bottle feeding lets you replenish your supply while they're eating.
this is so helpful!! im pregnant with my first baby, due in january, and Im so lost when it comes to things to buy to prepare me for postpartum! Please make some newborn and postpartum must haves on tik tok!!
Was the c sections planned? I hear that plan C-sections usually go better than emergency C-section… my emergency C-section was beyond painful and traumatic
The Spectra is the best pump hands down. I’ve tried the hospitals pump, the Haakaa, and the Elvie. I had a pumping bra and I would pump all around the house. It got so much milk out of me.
I use greater than and it definitely helps with breastfeeding! They taste great when chilled and keep me hydrated. You also got me with the pump cups. Never knew about them, buying today! I had 3 c-sections and you mostly just need comfort about your stomach. Tummy control underwear for postpartum, and those heat packs that look like long ice packs for the fist week. You pop and shake them and lay them on your stomach. Best thing ever. The hospital has them most of the time.
I love these videos Naz! I have been watching you since your prom make up tutorial days lol. I am 39 weeks pregnant with my first baby and half of my baby registry were things you mentioned you liked with Kavon. Please keep baby content coming very relatable and I feel like I have a friend to go through this with.
Girl the way I been updating my man on your pregnancy 😩 likkeee this internet auntie ready to see the lil munchkins 🤍 sending lots of love and prayers!
Naz! Loved the video like always! Not a mom, but definitely gave me ideas of how to stay organized when the time comes! Frida mom seems like an essential! Thank you for sharing 💗🥰 I hope you have a safe delivery!
I love watching these videos naz, I really don’t know anything about a lot of this stuff actually! Ahaha it blows my mind lol I love watching you be a mom, you are such a beautiful soul, and I am so happy for you, Mel and kavon and the fam 🥺💜
I’m hoping you get your vaginal delivery but just wanted to throw some info about c-section recovery if you do end up needing it! I just had to have a c-section six months ago because my son was footling breech. Besides the depends and peri bottle, there aren’t really any extra supplies that you need. When you leave the hospital, there’s some tape over the incision and one of the best pieces of advice I received was to use a blow dryer after the shower to dry the tape. So excited for your growing family and I hope everything goes well with the delivery 💕
Hi Naz/Mel! Just wanted to comment and mention that not all insurances provide a free breast bump for moms. Some insurances only allow moms to rent/ borrow for a couple of months. It depends on the insurance you have. I love the vid! Wishing you and your family the v best❤️
Hi Naz idk if ur going to read this comment hopefully you do. I just wanted to give you some encouragement for breastfeeding your twins! I had 2 identical boys I still breastfeed them at 7 months. You can make enough milk supply trust me. It’s hard but it’s an unbreakable bond. I used the twin z breastfeeding pillow. Also you can pump and give bottles or whatever you choose fed is the best option🙌🏼😁 sending you prayers and a healthy delivery!!! Luv u gurl🫶🏼❤️
It's so funny to see all of the new inventions for mothers. My mom would use little mouth wash cups to catch the milk from the other breast while breastfeeding lol. They made it work in the 90s with whatever they could find.
A few tips on c-section. The ice packs for vaginal birth help on the scar because it sometimes feels really itchy or sore and it makes it feel 10000x better. Also higher underwear because the band rubs on the c-section and that causes pain and irritation. Also when you do bleed the spray bottles with water do help when you use the restroom because it is very hard to move after the first couple days/weeks. Pro tip, move as much as you can!! It will help your recovery tremendously!
Not me being super excited everytime Naz posts a video literally soak in every min of the video🥹she is so beautiful my favourite person on the planet🤍🤍🤍🤍
You mentioned you don’t like the way lactation cookies and bars taste but you need to try the munchkin milk makers lactation cookies, the oatmeal chocolate chip flavor… they are delicious
