FINALLY some good footage of a 2430! Thanks for sharing. Great video.
What are you mowing with, and how wide of a swath are you chopping per pass? (Mower swath, not windrow width.) You're rolling to "only" be running a 8245R.
Right after I bought a new NH FP240 and Dion rotary 4R corn head, Dion came out with these. I like the FP, but it's tempting to trade for a 2430 or a Scorpion 300...
How is chop quality in haylage like this alfalfa with the 8-knife head versus a 12-knife? Any particular difference? Anything you don't like about the machine? Any idea of average hourly throughput?

Thank you, I just filmed them running I do not own the equipment or farm. They seem to like it they were still getting used to it as it was a new purchase.

Do you recommend these forage harvesters will be used for corn silage just a small tome guy with 100 pairs but might expand later these seem to be as much
    Money as a used sp

That's a good point and up to the farmer this one is actually brand new this farm decided to stay with the pull type rather than upgrade to an older used self propelled unit. They will use the to chop the hay and corn on the farm.
