She carried that precious little baby around for 6 days . And no one that worked with the gorillas never had the slightest notion she was starving the newborn to death ? I find that appalling. Six days of starvation. You would think some one would have known. Seems to me the zoo needs a new gorilla staff that is educated enough to know when a baby is being starved to death. I mean it doesn't take a rocket scientists! What the hell . Such a horrible death.
Heartbroken❤️❤️❤️ Of course Gorilla Mother’s first baby sometimes die from lack of lactation. She looked as if she was doing all the right things. I did notice she was holding baby very secretive as if she did not want anyone to see. With her being first time Mother maybe was not relaxed enough to feed because worried about protecting more. I’m sure y’all are heartbroken. I was planing on coming to see the baby soon. I am so so sorry. I hope she gets pregnant again soon. Keep us all updated as to what went wrong
