You are correct to seek the Orthodox faith, as it is the true faith. Look up the nearest Orthodox church to you and email the priest to begin. Do not listen to ecumenist heresy like the comment above. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism (Ephesians 4:5), one Gospel and NO other, not made by man, but given to the apostles through the revelation of Jesus Christ, delivered ONCE AND FOR ALL unto the saints. (Jude 1:3) The Roman Papist’s innovations of Absolute Divine Simplicity and the Filioque render that entire system entirely irreconcilable with the Orthodox faith unless they renounce these things. Read the Cappadocian fathers whose theology was approved at the first Council of Constantinople in 381. The Church rightly defended the Divinity of the Holy Spirit and taught Essence-Energy Distinction. God bless you. ☦️

@@TboneWTF they are mostly synchronicities. For example opening The Bible with a deep feeling, or a Hindu scripture called Sai Satcharitra, and reaching a page that precisely talks about the internal troubles I am having. That's the limit of my personal examples so far. But there are people with far more devotion than me and with them miracles happen even more often, and even more obviously, such saints are found in Eastern Christianity and in certain sects of mystical schools from all religions, and I have only read about such miracles.
Ah yes, I do have a recent example of another synchronicity. For three months I wasn't getting any job offers, let alone wfh job offers. But recently a very tough condition fell on my family. One day I went to the temple, and right before the _Aarti_ began I got a call from a place that was offering me remote work. 1. read my response to the dude in question. He literally said he would not believe in God until God bent to his will and appeared before him ON HIS TERMS, NOT GODS. God speaks to you as he pleases, its on you if you want to listen or not.
2. what is spiritual? Because this is reading to me in the following ways
2a. i'm not religious i'm "spiritual", which is a modernist new age heresy
2b. Man made religious ties, is another oxymoron. Are you Christian? Do you read the bible? Because if you do, you are either historically illiterate (which is fine, i do recommend reading up on actual church history), or a hypocrite that picks and chooses as he pleases, which makes you a spiritual fornicator friend.

This is brilliant. Starting my morning off right by watching this instead of checking social media. I was born and raised Catholic but when I became a teenager I became confused and thought everything I was taught was a lie. It wasn’t until my grandma died in Dec of 2022 after I received the Eucharist at her funeral that I felt like I was ready to talk to God again. Even then, I was hurt and confused, asking why did he take my grandma before I even had a chance to say goodbye? I started watching videos about Christ, praying more, eventually downloaded the Bible app, and now I have a copy of the New Testament which I got for free. I feel a lot more close to Christ and everyday I want to know him more.

Several years ago I lived in San Francisco with my wife (then girlfriend). We'd catch the bus downtown at a bus stop right across the street from the Holy Virgin cathedral in San Francisco. We were protestant at the time, so we didn't know orthodoxy existed and thought "that must be some kind of Russian catholic church."
Several years later and we move to Oregon so we can start a family. I start looking into church history and find a nearby orthodox church. It's called St. John the Wonderworker and I later learned that it was named after St. John Maximovich, who help them start the little parish in the 80s. I like to think St. John saw my wife and I sitting across the street, waiting for our bus, and marveling at the Golden spires of his church, and helping to guide us to orthodoxy.

My plane got delayed in San Francisco a couple weekends ago and we had to stay over night until the next flight. St. John is my saint and I had never venerated his relics before, so I was thrilled. We got in a lyft and made it just in time for Saturday evening vespers. After the service, I was able to venerate the relics of the saint, I believe, brought me to orthodoxy.
The part about St. Nicetas was the creepiest thing I've ever seen! Just hearing the demon had me chilled and near shaking.
Dont be scared of demons, they are WEAKER than the Lord.
it was quite unnerving
Incrivel, não?
as a person who's heard demons before you are 100% right and i felt the same when i actually experienced one speaking to me.
(If you're wondering how it went basically , suddenly my sister went out of the room and went to my parent's room and i told her to keep the door open but she didn't listen and soon after I felt a horrible sense of dread whenever I looked at the door , I heard footsteps down the coridoor so I quickly turned around to the wall and covered myself with my blanket after a few seconds I heard the DEEPEST. DEEPEST. DEEEPEST voice EVER in my life on my sister's bed near the window as if it was standing up and it was speaking in some reversed language which for 1 word sounded like polish (i am polish so maybe it was speaking to me in reversed polish) but i also feel like it was speaking some ancient language like hebrew? i remember i was literally sweating so badly and i was literally crying from fear. i've had several experiences with demons in the past and it's horrible all the time , I just wonder what I would've seen if I uncovered my blanket. this was when I was becoming more of a better christian btw))

I can't help but watch the St. Nicetas chapter over and over again. Sadly, I can see myself falling into the same temptation.
Isolation?
The temptation to be and act like more than you are? The temptation of worldly knowledge? Or are you talking about the temptation to disobey authority?
During a time of turmoil, the life of St. John, the testimony of the Apostles, and the words of Blessed Fr. Seraphim Rose, brings much needed peace in my faith. Thank you for making this video.
It's funny, this video reminds me of coming back to Christianity, after 2 of my aunts passed and the woman I thought was the one left me, all within the span of half a year. It felt wrong saying the prayers for them when they were buried without believing, but I felt that burning in my heart continuously after. It's been more than half a year now since restarting my journey to God through his guidance, and I am grateful everyday that I have been able to learn through loss with him.

Both the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church are the valid church established by Christ. I would recommend opening your heart to both of these churches.

I am a Hindu and I feel a deep reverence for Eastern Christianity. The saint's stories are full of miracles and true feelings of devotion, which is very much like the stories of Hindu saints that I have been hearing since I was a kid. Miracles do occur when the feeling is pure and devotional. Hail Mary! 🙏🏻🛐
"Miracles do occur when the feeling is pure and devotional." Please offer some examples of miracles that have occurred?
The next day I was feeling particularly repentant and I was listening to an Aarti right from my home, with my hands outstretched for the whole time (around 20 minutes) and after that, I got another call that offered me an even better wfh opportunity, and I am still working in that job right now, feeling satisfied. Beautiful things like that.
@@chooha " I do have a recent example of another synchronicity" You used the word "miracles" in your original comment and I asked for examples. Do you not have any or would you rather edit the word "miracle" for "synchronicities"?
