Train Trip in Spain: 🇪🇸: Cercanías Madrid, from Alcalá de Henares to Madrid

Cercanías is the Renfe railway service that connects several peripheral neighborhoods around large cities in Spain.
Cercanías Madrid is the largest network and has 10 lines going to Guadalajara, Cercedilla, El Escorial, Getafe, Parla, Madrid Airport, etc.
This time, I boarded the train from Alcalá de Henares-Universidad to Madrid Atocha.
It takes 40 minutes with several stops.

YESSS finally someone from outside of Spain who reviews our commuter network. Some notes:
- The train you rode, a Series 465, DOES have toilets! They are located in the PRM carriage, the middle ones. Although they often tend to not work. xD
- You probably found the train not shaking due to temporal speed limits in that area which slow down the trains a lot.
- The railway gauge is Iberial gauge (1668mm) because that's the way spanish railways were built. Due to Spain's mountainous terrain, wider trains provide more stability.
