They are considered geniuses in the real underground scene. They were with Island records for a bit but they have been independent for a loooong time so they take home way more of their own royalties than artists on contracts. And they sold A LOT for being underground, their merch sales alone made them comfortable. They are highly respected here in Michigan when it comes to paving your own way.
This is one of their better social commentary songs, another good one is How Many Times. I'm glad you reacted to this song, because I think a lot of people don't realize ICP actually has some songs that make you think.
WHOOP! WHOOP!!! Juggalo since 1993, I was 11. I bought "Carnival of Carnage" because some dude said it was Esham. It wasn't Esham, but he did have a big hand in that record, producing, or co-producing about 5 or 6 tracks.
I like how some folks don't like ICP's music, but respect them. Especially now, knowing how ICP came up as self-made and are humble folks you can see at a grocery store
The amazing jekyll Brothers album is arguably one of the best albums icp ever made. This song was on that album. I'd suggest the song "echo side" from the same album.
The best part is when realize that this song teaches better history than the school's and it was written by drop outs. I was a high school student when this released and saw that as an indictment of the sad excuse of an education being handed out in high schools, audited college classes and found there febil attempts at education sad has I was put out for correcting professors
ICP "The People" "Clown Walk" "Pass Me By" Twiztid "Take it Away" (This one means a lot to me, has saved my life a few times) "Respirator" "How I Live (Feat. Proof)" Boondox "Out Here" "Country Life" "Fear"
The message is still relevant today. For example, we have hundreds of thousands of homeless people and tens of thousands of them are veterans but for some reason most people are more concerned about what restroom a trans person uses.
I cut my ICP teeth on Dog Beats. That's how long I've been a fan. They've always pointed out some pretty poignant shit. A lot of their stuff is pretty comedic too, and hilarious. They're not for everyone, but they're for me. Check out the Beverly Kills 50187 album.
Thank you Ninja for giving I.C.P. a listen and breakdown. Keep in mind this is one song from one album from one deck there are seven albums in each deck. There are 2 decks so far. &Hella side projects..! To say they created a world all into their own would be a huge understatement! . And just FYI I.C.P. are two people Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope. Started out mad cuz the song is literally called "Terrible" If anybody wants any more info on anything I.C.P related just ask. 💚🤘💚 I kw I grooved with your content for some reason. You have an open mind and the ability to listen. And try to understand before judgement🎉 🎉! Plz keep up the good work fam. 👍 Been watching your stuff for a couple months now. Faygo all that good Clown love all the important stuff! WhoopX² MMFCL from Camp Candy Castle&Crew 🍬 🏰💥 =C4-crew
Another thing to know about ICP there fan base is massive in poor rural areas as well as suburbia. So they have a pretty diversion Fan base not to mention horror fans and pro wrestling fans
Listen to their entire discography from first to now and listen to the story dive into the origin of the first 6 jokers cards by the end of wraith Shangri-La your mind will be blown
Seeing icp getting their flowers has been kinda healing, told the music was evil when I first became down and was abused by my parents about it. Now everyone is giving them respect they deserve, you don’t need to like them but people should respect them.
Violent J did a solo album, called The Shinning, it has some decent tracks, Forever 14 I Get Mad Its a bit more melodic and less comical but still has the ICP flavors and style, something a little bit different from Psychopathic
First time I saw ICP live I was way up front by the speakers when Shaggy screams like at the beginning of this it hurt bad I thought I was gonna be deaf for sure.
OMFG your facial expression at the beginning was epic......You should check out "It's All Over, Where's God, & Miracles" by ICP These songs are a tad more laid back than this one is
I grew up listening to ICP and there are many songs that we enjoy as juggalos, but mainstream looking in won't understand... .... But hidden amongst all the surface murder and chaos and just silly stuff there are songs like this which have an actual impact and social message. I would love for you to do more songs by them, maybe do polls and figure out which ones are more serious. Someone mentioned how many times, I would also suggest nothing left, toy box, under the moon, just to start. .... But thank you for listening to this with an open mind and not just trashing on it because it's ICP
I grew up in detroit for 30 years doesnt mean i understand what the rebel flag stands for. The federal government has way over stepped its bonderies is why we are at today.
This is a great ICP song to react to. They aren't who you heard they were. When they say, "you don't know terrible, but you will. Soon as our wagons come over the hill." That's the lore of ICP. Feel free to jump in and learn. There's a lot. It's all about shitty people getting judged for their wicked ways. Just so happens to be a carnival theme.
If you want a good, good ICP song that would be considered a classic if anyone else wrote it, look up "Nothing's Left" (same album as this one). It's a genuinely good song on all fronts, one of those "I hate ICP but I like this one" songs.
Regarding the conversation about the rebel flag, I highly recommend either “Your Rebel Flag” from 1992 or “Confederate Flag” from 2015 as the next ICP reaction. It would serve as a perfect segue and continue the conversation. Both are great, but it depends on whether you’d prefer to listen to an older or newer style of hip-hop. Great reaction as always! 🔥🔥🔥 Whoop Whoop!!
This is the 1st ICP album I bought, I thought the cd cover looked cool. I've been a fan ever since. Also, I live in NC and he is right. Bumper stickers that say "heritage, not hate" are not hard to find. And I know of an elementary school in Virginia that is mostly black students, less than 15 minutes down the road is a cemetery with a pole flying that flag. It's some fucked up shit.
I have this album on audiotape from the 90s)) but my english was not so good, and I didn't understand what he was talking about. and yes, i am from Russia)))
Keep in mind this guy has a 6th grade education. Just incredibly wise considering their station in life. Many such cases, actually, iykyk. Which is the point of the song.
ICP is so much deeper than they're ever given credit for. You're the perfect guy to react to them.
im so pumped my dood cuz no one ever breaks the Boyz lyrics down like this.
WhoopX²
Sooooo much deeper!!!
WhoopX² MMFCL from C4-crew 💚 🤘 💚
Absolutely !
The lyrics of this song are so damn spot on and no one knows. Good job shining light on it :D
Icp "never had it made" "ife at risk" is one of their earliest songs "somebody's gonna die"
Shaggy and Violent have been through the wringer and come out shining.
Being called a gang when they aren't
Yeah, that's an understatement!
Quite literally been through the wrestling ringer not to mention the three-ring 🎪🎪🎪Big Top.
The Neden Game really makes you think
I 2nd How Many Times?, absolutely my favorite song by them and in general. Would be cool to see someone with an actual open mind breaking it down.
Where's God, Pass Me By, Found, Theres shiny diamonds all in the selection
As well as laugh at with all the confusion... 😅
ICP is underrated. People just see the paint and look away judging a book by its cover.
This album is killer
One of my favorites.
This whole album is dope
WHOOP! WHOOP!!! Juggalo since 1993, I was 11. I bought "Carnival of Carnage" because some dude said it was Esham. It wasn't Esham, but he did have a big hand in that record, producing, or co-producing about 5 or 6 tracks.
Dude same, 82' baby here, got carnival of carnage right after riding out hurricane Andrew.
I like how some folks don't like ICP's music, but respect them. Especially now, knowing how ICP came up as self-made and are humble folks you can see at a grocery store
Juggalos bein' real about real sh*t, no sugarcoatin', we aint dat kinda carnival.

A response of a real ninja MMFWKL
"best song you heard from them"? Damn, respect for the acknowledgement. Most of their songs have a meaning similar to this amount of this seriousness
The amazing jekyll Brothers album is arguably one of the best albums icp ever made. This song was on that album. I'd suggest the song "echo side" from the same album.
Yesssssss, Echo Siiiiide....
Great milenko
The birth of Lotus 🤘

ANALYSE WHAT YOU SEE. Great fucking song.
Damn this song brings back memories
Still gives me goosebumps when i listen to it.
Terrible Goosebumps! MMFCL
Killjoy club was a group they had with 3-6 Mafia "surprise" is bad ass
ICP are dope especially that time period of their career. Also some of the most effortlessly funny dudes.
I wrote an essay about this song back in high school. Such a great example of what those guys really stand for
Been down with the clowns since 1994...
1992 here 🤡
Whoop Whoop MMFWCL
Damn 97 here whoop whoop
Haven't been really up on twiztid and all them since they left psychopathic... but been bumping all of psychopathic since 94
I used to drink Bacardi and Faygo and I do put pepper in my DR Pepper.
I think you would get a kick out of their To Catch a Predator song 😁
i do all icp reactions!

one of their deeper stuff, underneath all the killing and stuff.
Wow, ICP DOES make a lotta sense! It frustrates me when people write them off and say their rap is just a bunch of gibberish. But there’s meaning.
ICP
"The People"
"Clown Walk"
"Pass Me By"
Twiztid
"Take it Away" (This one means a lot to me, has saved my life a few times)
"Respirator"
"How I Live (Feat. Proof)"
Boondox
"Out Here"
"Country Life"
"Fear"
You can't name top 3 Twiztid without "afraid of me"
The whole jeckal bros album is deep as fuck
This video proves, there is never too late (to react to the truth) :)

Much love man. I really appreciate you for all these ICP reactions.
i do all icp reactions!
Look up “Hatchet Man” ,
And juggalo chant. Also, Blaze’s “God Don’t Like Ugly.”
ICP is legit. All the family is. Including Tech N9ne, the greatest.
Their early works (the first 6 joker cards) are interesting. Some of my favorites are Hellalujah and The Dead One.
Pass me by
Posse on Verner
Bowling Balls
Homies
Haunted Bumps

Song still gives me goosebumps even years later.. a great song from them is Burning Up (Remix)

The first 6 are quintessential listening if you want the whole package. The 2nd deck isn't as important, but Bang! Pow! Boom! was pretty dope.

Your ICP reactions are the best. They are so over the top and you are very analytical. It's a good a contrast.
Very good song!! 🖤 Thank you for bringing light to it.

Welcome to what made some of us juggalos!

Can you react to Ain’t No Time by ICP? It’s not very “deep” but it again shows a bit of range for them
That's one of my favorites. It's very sincere, raw and straight forward.
That's a deep ass song right there... love it and the video is good as hell too
I grew up in detroit for 30 years doesnt mean i understand what the rebel flag stands for. The federal government has way over stepped its bonderies is why we are at today.
I’d love to see a reaction to Amazing Maze, Assassins, Bitches ft. ODB, Suicide Hotline!!
Yes I'd like to see this guy react to bitches as well. Or cotton candy

Enjoyed this video
Everything ICP does is a concept album. This is 5 albums deep into a 7 album concept story that they told from 1990-2004.
Your reactions had me screaming.

Well behind the paint/ how many times if you want more about their ideals and beliefs. Boogie Woogie if you’re looking to see the horror core side.
