Look at this from a different angle, how could anyone be able to upload twice a day a 30-minute long story written supposedly by his own hand and lead a casual and social life at the same time? No Jedi council intervention , no Obi-Wan tutelage , No Yoda as the grandmaster for 200 Plus years & we will not get Anakin turning into that Darth Vader nonsense. All that transformation could have been avoided & I always blame the Damn Jedi for what had happened to Skywalker because in my eyes it was all their fault 1st & Anakin’s 2nd for his own individual choices afterwards. To be fair to Obi-Wan, he was the best Jedi to train Anakin once Qui-Gon passed. Let’s not forget that Obi-Wan actually loved him, unlike 99% of other Jedi Masters would have. It’s how the Jedi Code was interpreted.

Obi-wan was one of the biggest problems not only in the Jedi order during the time but as Anakin’s mentor 🤷🏾♂️ The man is one of the reasons why Anakin turned out the way he did in the 1st place & that was as a failure of a student. Anakin & Obi-Wans relationship was Similar to Coworkers becoming work friends , they was not ride or die true brothers & never close like that on a personal level , they just worked well together business wise & became cool from that but never deeper. Obi-wan toke on anakin as a burden to his dead master he never really liked him like that from the beginning & the way the skywalker story ends proved that but that’s just me ✅✅✅.

Anakin and Obi-Wan show a brotherly bond in ROTS, one which has them hesitating to fight each other even after Vader purged the Jedi Temple. At the end, Palpatine was the soothing voice and welcoming ear that played into Anakin’s darkest desires, and he always would have been. How would Mace Windu or Yoda have been any better? Ki-Adi Mundi? Luminara Unduli? They would have been far more distant, and Palpatine would have gotten Anakin sooner.

More likely he’d either join and have Anakin not join but stay by his side, and if the Jedi refused Qui Gon would refuse to join and offer only their help with the war. What if Palpatine was a secret apprentice of a now deceased jedi sent to spy on Plagius, but was turned. Years later, maybe the light rekindles in him due to his connection to Anakin. A stretch, i know, but i think you could make something of it
