Bunnies and groundhogs can still get through those holes though. I’m not just dealing with deer.
In my soil, all I can get is 3' holes for my posts. Just too many boulders. I am wondering are your posts and/or corner posts in concrete or just packed with soil? My posts are 13-14' in length. Would you recommend putting the corner posts in concrete. My total size is 50X50 so the weight of the fence (welded wire hole size is2"x4" to keep rabbits out too). Do I still need a wooden support brace for my corners? How about the wire bracing?
I was wondering about keeping out bears. Would it stop one from climbing over, or pushing it over?
You'd want to add electric fencing to keep bears away. This is what beekeepers do to prevent them from getting into their hives.
Where did you buy that fence? What is exact name and height/gauge/dimensions I am in RI

8 feet fence won't stop a deer if it really wants inside very much. They can jump an 8 foot fence.
The corner bracing you showed hasn’t been installed correctly 🤦♂️ the brace on the left is correct, the brace on the right has the diagonal wire running the wrong way!!!!
