LOL, This is my 3rd (or maybe 4th) passenger side mirror. You may think about taking stock in the company.
Seriously, this is the first one I’ve done instead of taking it to a garage and I saved myself in the neighborhood of $350.
This video explained in detail how to do the work. It was clear with no background noise. Your voice wasn’t harsh or demeaning. You’re a great teacher.
Thanks for your time and patience. I’ll look you up if I need anything else. God bless.

I totally agree with this Comment.. This type of tutorial just gave me the confidence that I can do the job by myself without breaking the clips and damaging the door pannel to where it looks all half assed and junky. I hope it goes the same for my 2003 Silverado Ls.. Curious if you'd be kind enough to let me ask you a few questions about replacing a gasket underneath the Center area on my truck. It's leaking 3 drops a minute but I can't seem to get any of my friends or relatives that know all about this stuff to want to help me out or walk me thru the steps. the only advice I've been able to. Obtain after a month n 3 weeks is that my truck is an old truck now and that that's just what old trucks do. They leak oil and start running badly bc of age. But I don't agree with that, I think an engine just needs the issue addressed / resolved before it causes a domino effect on the engine causing part after part to default until the truck is just too much to fix. I'm the original owner and even with the oil leak and mirror it still drives like it did when I drove it off the lot. Back in 2013. I just need some guidance from someone that's a good person if you have the time.. Sorry for writing so much. And ty for ur time

Just replaced my right side mirror. Thanks for this making this video and sharing where all the hiding spots are for the nuts. Made life a lot easier. Great video. It’s to the point. Whole job took about 45 mins.

Dealer wanted $300 to replace driver side mirror in a 2012 Silverado. We found one at partsgeek for $45 and after watching this video decided we could replace it ourselves. It was a little more difficult than you showed (you've obviously done it before). A DEEP 10mm socket is required (which we had to go buy as ours was not deep). We broke/lost a little clip that held the plug hard against the inside of the door but we decided that wasn't important. It took us three times to get the panel back on correctly and we broke off one of the clips on the triangular piece in the process but otherwise, all went well. Thanks so much for this video - otherwise we'd have been out a lot more money. We hope we never have to do this again but now we know we can.

Thanks for the video. It's going to really help me out knowing where the bolts are. Wouldnt have thought of the handle trim piece or the lock tab. I probably would have struggled for an hour or more trying to figure it out. After your video I'm expecting a 10 minute of so install. Thanks

Thank you so much! This was spot on. I got frustrated though because it wouldn't work at first, I thought for sure that they had sent me the wrong part.
I even started looking at how to change the fuse, wasted a good half hour looking into that and ticked off because I knew I would have to make another AutoZone run. I finally realized that I didn't have a mirror selected on the panel switch. LOL After I picked a mirror it worked like a charm. Thank you thank you thank you!

Very detailed instructional video. Ten times better and a lot faster removal procedure than the one produced by 1A Auto, who I ordered my replacement mirror from, after my ex shot at me and missed and hit my mirror instead.😅 1A Auto would have you believe that the whole arm rest control wiring harness would have to be unhooked plus removing the water guard behind the door panel😝Totally BS.😝, as apposed to just the mirror wiring harness connection as you so adequately demonstrated . Thanks for this excellent video. 👍👌✌
