Ha! I also have a hybrid home office/ seed starting area. Very nice 👍

Spinach has always been a pain for me as well. I use similar light but not on chains. I use cardboard boxes under the trays to raise or lower them. That way if one tray needs to be farther away and others need to be closer it’s easy. Great content as usual!

I use the Styrofoam from the light packages and have chains like Ben. The bottom rack I have some hooks that aren't adjustable so I move my taller seedlings to that shelf.

indoor seedlings are lighter in color vs. full sun. So possibly not a nitrogen issue. Something to look into.

I have a similar set up as well. But I use 3 lights per shelf instead of 2 to get a better light distribution. The lights I use are cheapo LED shop lights from Amazon which are $8 or so each. Also have my rack sitting against a window to get some more light as well.

I would suggest too move the lights more to the center to get the light more even across the width of the shelf.

They shadow on the outside when I do that. After this season I'm going to rework the shelf

I just built a greenhouse. Do I need to harden off my seedlings before moving them into my greenhouse.

How far along are those cold hardy seedlings you are putting out soon? Basically how many weeks should I wait until they might be ready?

@sandybottomhomestead ok. Sounds good. I'm a little behind on getting started but they have been up for about a week.
