That is super tenoral voice when he changes to his chest register. You can even hear from his speaking voice. But I am glad that he found his way as a countertenor :))

In fact he demonstrates both his baritone and countenor voices while singing a capella. A capella just means to sing unaccompanied. That is, he sang without the assistance of a pianist or a guitarist.

He has a range that puts Callas to shame! He is truly touched by God.

When he sings with his modal voice, he sounds like a tenor, not a baritone. Even his speaking voice sounds like the voice of a tenor.

That's not how a baritone would sound, he is clearly an undeveloped tenor, his chest voice is too high to be that of a baritone.

he's a leggiero tenor and not a baritone btw ...

He is baritone. Counter tenor is a technique, not a register

Yes, I'd agree with that. His spoken voice and normal singing voice show he's a tenor, nowhere near a baritone.

Since when is he a baritone? He's a countertenor and has never been a baritone.

Philippe actually has said he is a baritone but that he just discovered a long time ago that there is this other part of his voice which he prefers. It's no big deal.

How did we get to a point where a guy with litterally zero voice and zero technique has all this success?
    Unbelievable..

Philippe still has two singing teachers to this day, he has had them for a long time. He is highly trained and has masterful technique. He looks after his voice. He knows exactly what he is doing with his voice.

We didn't. He's a skilfull artist and you should judge him after you bother to hear some of his repertoire, which I suposse you didn't.

his baritone is rly bad, he didn't train it at all i guess. don't like his falsetto either, but it's much much better than his baritone anyways.
