Now more than ever we need videos of the adventures, and in most cases, the ordeal of those of you who can document what is going on inside and out of Russia. More videos, please! 🔊🖥📲
Man, I have to be honest. I'm not sure I could do what you did. I would be so scared standing up to my government, leaving my home country, being in a financially unstable situation etc. It would overwhelm me. Seriously, I wish nothing but the best for you and everyone else who ran away. Oh and of course Stop Putin and Stop the War.
It was good to hear from you Zack! I really enjoyed your story, because I had no idea what you had to go through to leave Russia and travel to Tblisi via Baku. It was so nice of those dentists to help you out. Most people in the world are good people. It was also nice that you were able to cross paths with Slava! I'm looking forward to your next video, because I've been wondering what you have been doing in Tblisi.
I am so glad you put up this I want to share it with a friend. I remember the iron curtain I was in born in west Berlin in the early 1950s. It split my family also. I was sad when I could no longer visit my favorite grandaunt. Thank you, Zack, for sharing💗
You sound like you have a really good soul Zack. I’ve watched a number of your videos now, and I’d like to think it’s obvious that you have a good heart and are truly against the terrible things your country is doing. I hope life continues to treat you well, and that you find your own success in whatever that means for you! I think I can speak for a lot of people in stating that it’s a really good thing to see that not all of the younger generation are as brainwashed as their parents and grandparents!! Take care of yourself Zack. ✌️
I'm glad you met plenty of nice people on your forced journey. Keep pursuing peace, dialogue, justice, better life for everybody. And don't let haters, trolls and anybody to get you down and give up. Wishing you strength. 💜
Thanks for sharing your story. It's amazing how your life has been turned upside-down in just a few months; however, I know you will prevail and do well wherever you end up. All the best, Zack. Stay safe.
Haha, 1.5x speed. 😏😏😀😀😀😀😀😀 You're funny. I could barely keep up at regular speed. I really enjoyed this catch up video @Zack the Russian and seeing Leya and @RussianPlus again, and understanding the context of both of them. And I relate to it somewhat. I left the country of Iran by myself when I was 18 yo to go to the States and go to school. I was young, and it was life changing. All of this detail about how you made your way, step by step, and having people help you along the way, it is very interesting, and intriguing, and enjoyable, and makes me remember some of my life too. It makes us remember some of our lives, all of us. Really. The details are not exactly the same, but similar. We have stories that would interest you too!. LOL...So, keep going Zack. We are proud of you for many, many reasons. You are standing up to a radically terrible tyrant, and being brave. Miraculously you were able to stay steps ahead of the disaster (Mar. 3rd!!!) and you will have to still be attentive and prayerful as you continue. You are indeed fortunate. Stay safe, seriously. We will watch for your next post. Prayers for your safety and success.
thank you for sharing your story, Greg. Your comments are always inspiring. I’m glad that you were able to make it to the US and totally change your life in a good way. That’s a really hard and at the same time interesting journey leaving your native country because of the politics. I wish not all people have that experience. But it makes me stronger in a way for sure.
@@ZacktheRussian I did not say Iran was my native country, but it may as well have been. I left there in 1967 as barely 18 yo just out of hs, so you can do the math. My native relatives are from one of the poorest regions in Kentucky, the Appalachians, the very location which is experiencing current unprecedented flooding, destruction, and even death. When I arrived in Newark, De. on the referenced journey, I was bused and dropped at Penn Station in NYC at 2:00 am. I decided to rest on the wooden benches with the homeless people who had taken refuge there for sleep. The police allowed (prolly still allow) that when the terminal is empty, and then rouse them at 5:00 am before the customers arrive to board trains. Upon being forced to move along I went to a window to get a ticket and found that I had to go to the other station, Grand Central. Using some of my money, which I had very little of, and no knowing way of replenishing, I still took a cab. That was Providential bc the driver helped me immensely in that he warned me to "keep my bags in sight and be careful bc, I looked like an easy target". Sure enough, I was standing at a coffee bar waiting for it to open when two ne'er-do-wells attempted to distract me with compliments and make off will all of my possessions in the world. I fared well though bc of the warning and your faring seems blessed too. Be strong, do the work of a man. You have good instincts and intelligence, and you are already blessed.
You showed foresight by grabbing your money and leaving so quickly. You showed resilience by leaving first and working it out along the way. These are the two characteristics one needs not only to survive in life but to thrive. Your parents need not worry about you!
It's heart-breaking to see you decide that you have to leave Russia. Like our birth families, we can't choose the country where we're born. Even though I'm many generations removed from my Scots/Irish ancestors, they too faced a difficult decision to flee from the lands where they were born and where all their families lived, to come to America. They faced land-clearances and starvation if they stayed, so there really wasn't much choice. Zack, you are a smart, resourceful young man and I'm sure you will do well wherever you decide to establish your life. You will be a valuable member of any community who accepts and adopts you!
@@ewawalczak192 it's fine, I like the weather. 35. Windy. Very cheap, you can buy a kilo of grapes for like 30 rubles. Not a lot of Russians. Easy and cheap visa extensions.
Good move, Zack. Stay safe and do not return to Russia until you can speak freely with no retribution from the authorities who are meant to protect you and not suppress you.

You and youth like you are our hope for the future. I hope you can find a home base. You will be an asset wherever you decide to settle.
I just found Zack. He seems to be complementary to Konstantin (Inside Russia) given the generational difference and to Artem (The Russian Dude) given the nature of his content. Good of them that they show the world that Russia can have a different face than the one Putin is showing the world.
Im so glad that you managed to get out of Russia, I wish you all the very best and hope you can build the life you want. I really do feel for you, very best wishes from 🇬🇧

From an American, stay safe, and safe travels. I know some Belarussians and Russians that have entered the US recently. I have friends over in Russia. Do what you can to stay alive and not fight someone else's war. This life is the only chance you get at consciousness and it's horrifying to see these old men send the young who have barely seen the world yet off to have consciousness extinguished in war. This world can be a great place, unfortunately our species suffers from some major flaws. Hope you live a long life and don't get caught up in all this.
Hi Zack! I hope we can have you in our home again here in Minnesota. We really enjoyed meeting you. I’m really enjoying your videos. May God bless you in your travels!
Man, you’re so brave and driven to be so young. Sorry you have to pass through so many difficult experiences but surely you are a fast decisionist and you’ll learn so much from this period! All the best for you future❤
Today I participated in a pro-Ukraine rally at a major city park with my local Ukrainian community, but I would say it was extremely easy to carry out just because America offers freedom of speech. All I gotta say is you're really brave with how you stood up to your own home country's government in a country that isn't anywhere near as free or comfortable as the US or Canada (Or any country in Western Europe). Much respect to you for doing something that I personally would have been too scared to do under the circumstances you were dealing with back in late February
America does not offer freedom of speech anymore. You could not post anything refuting covid without fact checkers taking something down. You also could not talk about election fraud. America used to be free but not anymore.

Just watched your video with Jake Broe. Very sorry that you have been put in the position that you have been. But very grateful to you for your valuable contributions to the global conversation on Russia and Ukraine. You are a great representative for the small minority of Russian people (in today's Russia) who are better educated, decent, responsible and ethically aware. I sincerely wish you all the best for the future. And I am sure that wherever you end up you will be a benefit and make a very positive contribution to that country and society. I know that you will make the most of your intellectual freedom and that you value it more than ever. You and people like you are a huge loss to Russia. And a huge benefit to us in the rest of the world. And you are very much appreciated and respected.
Hi Zack! I was very impressed hearing your story and the countless difficulties you encountered in leaving your country and finally arriving in Georgia which really seems to be a special place and hoping that things can really improve between Russia and Ukraine and also within Russia itself, I think you will be able to find happiness even outside your home country where, who knows, maybe things will change for the better and where you can return as a free man and without any problems. I wish you a lot of happiness.
Thanks for this. I've been following your Instagram posts, but everything is in bits. This is a good rundown. How is your departure effecting your family? I guess this could be a sensitive topic, so don't answer if you prefer not to.
i commend you for your strength its so sad that you cant protest freely. You are incredible for being able to be free to let us know how your doing. Please be safe and keep us informed
Thanks for sharing your story! Nice to hear about all the wonderful people you met to provide help. Every bad thing that happens in life, also have good things that follows. This war is a disaster for *all* of us, but also make the knowledge and understanding for each other and other countries (for those that have access to true info) I have faith that putler will loose this war, (already lost) just because of, humanity stands united for those values, "respect and understanding of each other". Stay safe my "brata" and take care.
Zack, I am glad you left Russia safely, and that you made up your mind so soon (from the very start), you are one of those who make us believe in a world and future of friendship and peaceful cooperation - and your videos are an important step on that road. I trust you'll make a good life wherever you go, as well as getting many new friends. Keep up your good work, and *stay safe!* Greetings from Denmark.
Zack, I remember finding your channel shortly after the war started. I followed your progress regularly, however It’s been a little while since I’ve watched your channel as of late, so I have some catching up to do regarding your videos. I just wanted to convey to you how incredibly brave you are, standing up for what you believe in whilst living in Russia, is incredibly courageous and you should feel very proud. I wish you the best and I’ll be following your journey forward.
You did good, kid. You thought for yourself, and you were able to think quickly. You met the right people, said the right things, and I'm so glad it worked out so well for you. Thanks for sharing your story. I look forward to hearing what else you have to share. :)

Well Zack I must say you have been blessed and I am impressed. Many thanks to Jake for having you on his channel as I am sure many more Americans will be interested in what you will have to say in the future.
Zack, I have been watching your videos since the beginning (found you thru Natasha of course) and I have wanted to always tell you that you are a hero of mine for how you have dealt with the invasion and your desire to tell the truth and be morally on the right side of history. I was a college student in the US during the Viet Nam war protests and I wish I would have shown as much courage as you are doing now. Best of luck to you!
Hello from Norway/Sweden, Tblisi has a very special place in my heart due to Dagny Juel (a historical mystery for those interested). So happy to see political winds working around in new generations . Be courageous ! God bless the ones who speaks the truth and Do the right thing.
What an adventure you've had so far! I'm glad you managed to get out of Russia as soon as the war broke out. It's also smart of you to immediately see the writing on the wall. You're extremely lucky to withdraw all of your money before everything went crazy. I discovered your channel after watching NATASHA's video. I subscribed and I will watch all your older videos to bring me up to speed. You know what? You should collaborate with other Russian vloggers and help promote each other. Many people are sympathetic to Russians who do not want this war; ordinary people like you are caught in the middle of this bad situation. I am glad you got out. I want to know more about the situation in Russia from your perspective. Mabuhay and more power from the Philippines!
Just got to know about you and your channel from thousands of kms away in Asia. You are truely brave young man inspring people across the globe. Hope my son become a grown-up like you in the future
How wise and brave you are for someone so young!! Stay free young man and live your life to it's fullest. God bless you, and stay safe. Love from London 🇬🇧
Hey Zack, I found your channel from Niki. 🥰 I had nightmares and anxiety for 3 days when Ukraine was attacked, and I am American, so I cannot imagine how you had felt. You’re very brave and smart and have a bright future. 🥰
Hey Zack, you know you can go pretty much everywhere you want without a visa: Most countries would be very glad to take you as a political refugee. Your UA-cam channel is the best visa justification you can get. Heck, with your moral integrity, you would even make a better Presidential candidate for any of these countries than the natives. 😷
Sorry Zack, finally got the time to watch through the video! I remember I was very worried about you during the first week of the war when you were still in Russia! Even after you lost those cops coming after you the day you protested I was worried that you might have gotten picked up by surveillance cameras and then police will come to your door. And I was so relieved when I finally saw your insta story saying that you landed in Baku! I’m so sorry that you have to abandon all your plans in Moscow, let alone the fear for your safety and freedom for doing what’s right. Can’t wait to hear the next update about your experience in Georgia
What adventure Zack!for most of us on the west Baku and Georgia is so far-away exotic place & i am looking forward for more videos about ur life there.

You are amazing.
Every time I watch you I'm more impressed of your bravery and your high morality.
I wish you all the luck, wherever you are.
Stay safe and see you soon back in the USA!🤍💙🤍
i commend you for your strength its so sad that you cant protest freely. You are incredible for being able to be free to let us know how your doing. Please be safe and keep us informed
Hope things work out for you. Uploading your valuable data to the cloud seems important. All the best.
Thanks for sharing your story!
Nice to hear about all the wonderful people you met to provide help.
Every bad thing that happens in life, also have good things that follows.
This war is a disaster for *all* of us, but also make the knowledge and understanding for each other and other countries (for those that have access to true info)
I have faith that putler will loose this war, (already lost) just because of, humanity stands united for those values, "respect and understanding of each other".
Stay safe my "brata" and take care.
Zack, you're young but have so much bravery, strength and personal conviction to do what's right. It's inspiring!
The smart move was to flee. You're brave. Trust yourself.
sweetheart your video just came up on my UA-cam. I'm so sorry at your age you must go through this. please know God is with you and he will not forsake you. sending prayers from USA 🙏
Thank for doing these videos. People everywhere need to see that many russians oppose the war.
Great story, Zack! Thanks for sharing. Congratulations on the smart move.
You're growing up fast, Zack, and you've been quite lucky. Stay on that learning curve.
Put your valuable photos on proton drive. You can always loose your phone and proton is the safest option.
Good luck to you. You're lucky to still be so young, you can start your life again in another country.
Hello from Norway/Sweden, Tblisi has a very special place in my heart due to Dagny Juel (a historical mystery for those interested).
So happy to see political winds working around in new generations . Be courageous ! God bless the ones who speaks the truth and Do the right thing.
Really brave kid! Lucky old Georgia receives young talented people. Russia's crème de la crème.
I so admire your courage. Very few could do this. You are an inspiration.
As a swedeish-american I salute You. Touching and hearthwarming and a future treasurebank for Your kids and grandkids.
I like your video! I watched the one when you came to the USA and I loved it. I wish you all the best.
I can't even imagine what that must be like, but I'm glad you got out!
You sound like a very smart young man. All the best to you!
You are very smart getting your money out of the bank as quickly as you did. I wish you well. Someone your age shouldn’t have all of those worries
Thank you so much Zack, for your great story. What a beautiful person, what a beautiful soul!
Hey Zack, I found your channel from Niki. 🥰 I had nightmares and anxiety for 3 days when Ukraine was attacked, and I am American, so I cannot imagine how you had felt. You’re very brave and smart and have a bright future. 🥰
God bless you today and always. You are a wonderful person. Consider adding a Patreon link.
I am a new subscriber here. I found you through Niki Proshin's channel.
Чувак, ты молодец, очень смело и правильно поступил, да ещё и в таком юном возрасте. Уважуха.
I love the Azerbaijani dentists, what heroes!
Man, I stumbled onto your video from your first day in the US and immediately went to see if you made it out. Glad to see you're relatively safe.
Thank you Zack, ttfn
Always happy when I see to you've posted a video. You're such a brave young man. Please post more content.
