I am a drummer myself for over 20 years now and after this video I can gladly say: I retire. You kill hundreds if not thousands of drummers with your drumming. I would be asking how long it would take to ship a Varus snare but this did absolutely finish me. You won! You won Metal! You won drumming! You won being the nicest guy on here! All I have now is watching your videos and think: "Damn, if I saw that 20 years earlier it would have changed my mind on how to play drums". But there is no second best. You won it all! It’s absolutely incredible to see how much work this guy puts in. Just compare this to his cover of the same song only 1 year ago and it’s in another league. This is exactly why practicing is important. Also he’s clearly learning techniques from many different genres and incorporating them into his drumming. This dude definitely challenges himself every time he practices and it shows.

Fucking AWESOME Mio Amico!!!! First... That kit sounds "AMAZING" and proof of why you switched and why others should consider doing the same. Second... You are the epitome of "less is more" with the proper ergonomics and ability.... Third... ERGONOMICS!!!! Drummers need to understand proper setup to achieve reaching everything in as many possible ways possible (crossovers) without pain, resistance, and damaging your body. You are able to achieve everything you do greatly due to the way you sit and set up your kit. Everything is placed perfectly and with purpose to allow maximum reach, power and speed with as little effort as possible. The results... No injuries and the ability to stay that way and "keep playing" long into life which is important to "life happiness" as you younger drummers get older ("Hear Me Now, Believe Me Later")...

Unfortunately, a head injury from a motorbike crash made me unable to play (ataxia: unable to coordinate movements; making drumming difficult to say the least!!). Even though I can no longer play I get such enjoyment from watching your videos. BTW, I was NOWHERE near as good as you are; I don't think anyone's as good as you :) Bravo, you're a legend ;)
