Nuclear produces reliable electricity, renewables only add further variability to the grid. To make renewables reliable requires massive overbuild of generation, transmission and storage infrastructure that usually isn’t considered in comparisons. However the time is fast approaching when SA will be over 100% sufficient in Renewables.
