- Hey guys! I just moved in to my college / university dorm at UCLA! ♥ I hope you guys enjoy my UCLA college move in day vlog for 2016/2017 ! It was a crazy experience but I am so glad I did it and that I get to show you all. I was totally worn out during this video because I went to UCLA camp in the mountains for 4 days straight right before this. But I am super excited to now be living at UCLA! Definitely let me know what you guys want to see next! I plan on doing a dorm room tour so THUMBS UP if you want to see it! ♥ Hope you guys enjoy!

All these young kids hyped to watch move-in videos dreaming about their future, then there's me old alumni missing these days. College is amazing kids, work your asses off, its going to be painful, but all worth it. Then if you get into UCLA, rest assured the classes only get harder!

I’m so weird, I was like “oh my gosh finally” because y’all actually cleaned off your furniture & stuff, yesss 😂 cause I’ve watched over 100 move in videos and nobody ever cleans off the furniture and I’m a germaphobe so it just made me cringe.

I was super nervous too! I would say buy super cute stuff (that got me super excited) and once I hung everything up it felt super comfy.
I recommended finding events that the school does in advance and going to all of the welcome events so that you can meet people! I went to UCLA camp for 3 days, 4 days before I moved and I met a lot of awesome people. We were all moving out for the first time so I didn't feel as alone :)
All of use were in the same place, nervous, scared, but we realized we weren't the only ones feeling that way and soon those feelings went away and we had a lot of fun! And also, parents, friends, fam are only a phone call away :) or a skype/facetime away haha

Chalyn Horan extracurriculars study hard take as many dual credits as you can. Talk to your counselor about your plans so they can help you pick the right classes.
Knock those college credits out in high school as much as possible, make sure those college credit courses are actually for college credit. If you're too busy, no big deal, it just shaves time off of being in college and cuts down on loans. Apply for as many scholarships as possible, even the long ones. Especially the long ones.
Having a good amount of community service hours under your belt looks good on applications for scholarships and the different incentive programs your university of choice may offer. Lots of people seem to think only their junior/senior year matters, but it's important not to slack from the start of your high school journey. Stay focused and dream big!

When I'm going to college I, going early like the day before move in day so I can pick what bed I want and decorate the side of my room in case I have a mean roommate or a sloppy one I'm a neat freak and very clean person
