As this product is water sensitive, will it melt when it is put against buttercream or placed on cupcakes? Thank you.

Great question @Beryl! This product actually goes perfect on cakes and cupcakes. It will not melt when it is touches buttercream.

What is the shelf life on the flexifrost sheets? How far ahead can you may lace and store it before putting it on a cake?

Hey there Velma! The shelf life of the sheet is 1 year from the date of manufacture. You can make the lace a few days in advance. If you pre-make the lace, once it is made remove it from the mold and store it covered. Also, be careful to make sure it is dry as you do not want it to mold in storage.

My normal lace recipe will dry out if it's on the cake more than about 6-8 hours in the fridge, and peel away from the cake. :(. Will this do that? If not, this is a game changer. Thanks!

I guess the question is how you are attaching it to the cake? What type of icing are you using. But I have had this lace for several months without it drying out. A lot also depends on your environment
