- Dubai, United Arab Emirates rang in 2019 with a blinding light and fireworks show that illuminated the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and also set a Guinness World Record for largest LED illuminated facade.

As a UAE citizen I take so many things I didn't know people didn't have for granted. This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I was in Dubai in February last year. All I can say is that it is an wonderful experience. I love the people, the buildings and just the city itself. That my visit to Dubai was nearly a year ago is just insane... Hope I can come back. May Dubai and UAE live forever.

Their’s is more of a light show. Hong Kong’s fireworks display is so beautiful with synchronized Auld Lang Syne. It’s the best.
I was born in Dubai and now I’m in the us! I’m so proud. I used to go to watch this every year until 2015. It was always amazing and I can’t believe how much better it has gotten

Times Square seemed like such a dud compared to Sydney, Hong Kong, Paris, London and of course this one in Dubai.
YH New York is more of a novelty show. Dubai is a crazy light show. They are quite different.

It's become a tradition for me to watch this every new year! This year was even more breathtaking as those before have been ! Happy new year to everybody!
I was truly blessed to have visited UAE Dubai in 2016 and stood beneath this breathtaking beautiful building. It was a truly incredible experience. One I will NEVER forget for as long as I live!! I am an American and the people of UAE were so very gracious so polite and friendly. I felt completely safe there. I was honored to have the experience of a lifetime. Thank you to my friends in the UAE. My love to you all. The world could stand to learn a little from these beautiful and incredible people. What a spectacular show!! Well done!!!
