MasterChef Judges Tried out ගල් (Arrack)

World famous TV series hosts Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan (MasterChef Australia) are on tour in Sri Lanka and have decided to pay the famous
Sydney Hotel Galle a visit. We were extremely lucky enough to be invited by our friends Yoshan and Elaine to cover the event and to be a part of this experience. I don't see any "Gal" arrack on the table. It's just DD, Old Arrack and Navy Seal. Both DD and old Arrack are 100% coconut arracks. The original "Gal" was a Molasses arrack and the modern day "Gal" (Extra Special Arrack) is just 3% coconut and 97% natural spirit (probably molasses). So it's vastly different from the coconut arracks. Navy Seal has the same alcohol combimations as "Gal," but without the coloring and probably without some different flavoring.
