I discovered Melissa when I was overseas in the Navy. I was infatuated with her character, and guitar style. Now I'm ready for retirement, and am looking to learn the guitar. I had decided on the Ovation, and am amazed at how many favorite artists have used them over the decades. ❤❤❤

My dream is to have a double neck ovation would be a blessing to be able to realize this dream more here in Brazil it is difficult to have access to a masterpiece of this and at the moment I have no conditions, I would love to have the opportunity to realize this dream, I am a musician Catholic and use for evangelism.

I hope they lower down The price For USA made Ovation its almost 5 gran. !! The Korean Made is cheaper 1200 they almost sound the same as the US the only difference is the feel :)

The mid-depth bowl does not fit me. I am trying to get one with a super shallow bowl but they are making them with a contour shape which I don't get. Or a mid-depth. Frustrating.

The contour shape is a better fit for the human body. Also it wont slip if you sit and play.😃

Ovation Guitars Heh, heh, I have an old '84 Collector's Ovation U.S. It's a super-shallow bowl and I love the feel, like an electric guitar. I bought 3 years ago the mid-depth Korean made Legend cut-away, (love the cut-aways) and I have on order a CE48P Koa burst SUPER SHALLOW BOWL Ovation. I'll have 3. I hear it has good playability. I don't play the old one, I only store it with loosened strings in its case. I will play the mid depth until the new guitar arrives. The Ce48p has a solid neck, not the 5 piece laminated one.

The mid-depth bowl Ovation guitar does not slip but feels like a dreadnought, but it's absolutely gorgeous with good playability.
