I would love to see a more dramatic Smokey eye from you. I love neutrals too but I feel like I’ve never see you in a dark, sultry Smokey type of eye look. I think it would be a great way to break out of your comfort zone. It’s makeup after all, it washes off.
Exactly! I’m glad she’s been reading the comments and is willing to branch out. She would look so freaking beautiful in a Smokey eye with a halo of a glittery shadow !! This video was step 1 and we need a step 2 in the “out of comfort zone” makeup lol
I come here for your personality, honesty, positivity and one liners - not for daring makeup looks so you do you girl! Plus you look stunning in your go to looks. If it ain't broke....
I agree, I love Jessica! I've been seeing the comments lately people saying for her to try something new get out of her "comfort zone" I've always liked the way she does her make up she, I guess bc I do it the same way kinda. Lol Jessica girl u do u!💕💕
I love her makeup because its so relatable. I don't wear a full dramatic (but gorgeous, no hate to those that do I'm just a nurse and don't have time) face everyday. 😊
You should do a mini series where you lock up all your safe makeup (maybe give your husband the key) and for three days only use the makeup that you’re excited about but too scared to use. Your fun colors, glitters, etc. Just three days!
@@anabelindapuentes4998 😆 I do this when playing with new makeup, I'm not going anywhere, who cares if I have two completely different eyelids, I gotta test all the things!!
Blue , yellow orange ! Full blown 3 color look ! Even if she washes off right away just want to see not the same look every video . I know how to do my makeup now , not watching for tutorial ... watch because I enjoy Jessica but it would be so fun for that different kind of video . She’d probably laugh and make us laugh the entire time
Do a collab with Angelika!! She could help guide you through choosing a color story for an eye look and coach you on techniques. That would be a really fun collab I personally would love to watch.
I have to say that as soon as you put the color on the first cheek...this became my all time favorite look that you have done. Instantly vibes of retro glam. Soft but glamorous.

I would love to see you do just a simple, colorful pastel eyeshadow look! Something like the new Mac Paint Pot in Clearwater or a shimmery lilac shade all over the lid would be so pretty on you! ✨
I'm so happy for you Jess for trying new things. You always say "I'm not a makeup artist..." but most of us aren't, a lot of people enjoy trying new more 'daring' things, I love it!!! I think you could do well with different techniques if you tried😍😍😍
I think that this is one of my favorite videos you've done. You really loved you're makeup and you had fun. You definitely stepped out of your comfort zone. Loved the look today. He really does have some great makeup products.
I LOVE seeing you do different looks - the fact that you aren’t a MUA and a bit nervous is what is so relatable!! Watching a MUA do amazing artistic looks is entertaining but I’m like “nah I couldn’t do that”
Your excitement when you love the way something works out is so genuine and infectious! You're such a bright light, Jessica! Love you and your channel!! Beautiful look today, and not too far off from one of your normal looks, just a little extra... with a red lip. Stunning!
Wow, I can't get over how beautiful this eye look is on you, just switching to the brown eyeliner and smoking it out gives you this gorgeous softness. I love it.
FINALLY THE BROWN SMOKEY LINER LOOK!!!!!!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I’m so glad to see this on you and I think it’s so much more complimentary than black liner! Amazing work! 👏🏽
Jess I am so proud of you! Progress is growth. What feels like an inch to one person can literally be a mile to another. We have to remember that we all work at our own pace. Although this look maybe a daily wearable look for some, the point is that YOU felt like it was out of your comfort zone without it becoming overwhelming. Great job! It was nice to see you having fun with some new techniques and enjoying playing with your makeup. I could see your genuine excitement. I can’t wait to see more! And who knows, maybe the excitement will build and you can try something really wild (for you) like a bright colored eyeliner on the water line with neutral brown shadows in the eyelid or a bright shadow under the bottom lash line. Try starting by blending your natural colors with the bright pops of them to stay closer to comfort zones while still stepping out. I would absolutely love to see a bright cobalt blue with your eyes to make them pop. Please make this a series it could be a lot of fun for you to do and us to watch! Remember always to be kind and encouraging.
I love your honest and bubbly personality; the genuine pleasure you got out of doing that look. I love your one liners and how you chuckle to yourself 😂 much love from England x
It was nice to see you do a different eyeshadow look. I like being able to see how darker shadows perform. I do hope that you can be more adventurous in applying makeup!
I love your level of excitement when you’re playing with all of this. See we were right to ask you to do a little out of your comfort zone! Love the final look!
I love this!! You should experiment with makeup and different brands more often. I'm on the same boat as you, I'm always in my comfort zone wearing the same basic makeup, but this looks fun!
Yes times a million to the way make up artists use their brushes and how far down the brush they hold it too. Robert Welsh is a great purveyor of promoting good brush usage.
Omg amen and hallelujah you finally did it. Jessica, most of us aren’t make up artists. We all learn from trial and error. It’s just make up. It washes off. I’m so happy you finally tried something different. And that brown liner is way more flattering on you then the black. Please don’t buy the peach shimmer. You already have a ton of peach shimmers. Keep trying new things and experimenting with different looks.
Jessica I have been watching your videos for the past seven years and I will watch them for the next seven years too. You need to give yourself more credit, you may not be a makeup artist but you do know what your doing and that is why you give outstanding recommendations and always look stunning at the end of makeup application. Love you girl!!
I feel like makeup by actual makeup artists are literally the best since they do use it every single day. The problem is, not everyone always wants to spend a bunch on makeup.
Gawgeous!!! I love the smoky brown liner and mascara on the bottom lashes. Those details just give a more natural, pretty doe-eyed look. I can’t get away with not wearing anything on the bottom anyway, since I have blonde lashes. It just stands out-black on top, blonde bottom. Thanks for sharing!
I LOVE the look you put together! That red is stunning. I normally watch your makeup videos because I love your personality (you prefer different colors/styles than I do). You were a great comfort to watch when I was in the deepest part of quarantine and needed to hear another voice. Keep up the good work! You're amazing!

Wow theres something about this dye look that just looks SO good! Its giving you a much sexier look. I absolutely love it! I think that smudgey brown liner looks so much better than your normal liner look! You look good no matter what but thus just looks so good!
So proud of you for trying new techniques! That shimmer w/ the drops thing, wow. End result looks the same as all your looks though. Would have loved you to try the green shimmer to mix it up and maybe a smokey lower lash. It's more than 'insert different product', it's also varying the placement, like 50's thick liner, different lower lash, playing w/ contour and things so the end luck is noticeably different. Like for Easter, I did a pretty green shimmer on the lid with a peachy/pink duochrome in the center and a darker green shimmer on the outer part and all three on the lower lashline. It was gorgeous. It doesn't always have to be peachy copper or taupey peachy pink. Try running a deep green shimmer over the liner with a thin brush with a copper lil bit in the center and same on lower lash. See what happens. Have a lil fun.
That palette is absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy for you that you did this video because Ive been using mixing medium for so long.. not understanding why any of the people that I watch on UA-cam do not use it because it is fantastic you can turn anything into a liquid eyeliner . any shadow that you want and it's waterproof.
