I would love to see a more dramatic Smokey eye from you. I love neutrals too but I feel like I’ve never see you in a dark, sultry Smokey type of eye look. I think it would be a great way to break out of your comfort zone. It’s makeup after all, it washes off.

Jess I am so proud of you! Progress is growth. What feels like an inch to one person can literally be a mile to another. We have to remember that we all work at our own pace. Although this look maybe a daily wearable look for some, the point is that YOU felt like it was out of your comfort zone without it becoming overwhelming. Great job! It was nice to see you having fun with some new techniques and enjoying playing with your makeup. I could see your genuine excitement. I can’t wait to see more! And who knows, maybe the excitement will build and you can try something really wild (for you) like a bright colored eyeliner on the water line with neutral brown shadows in the eyelid or a bright shadow under the bottom lash line. Try starting by blending your natural colors with the bright pops of them to stay closer to comfort zones while still stepping out. I would absolutely love to see a bright cobalt blue with your eyes to make them pop. Please make this a series it could be a lot of fun for you to do and us to watch! Remember always to be kind and encouraging.

Wow, I can't get over how beautiful this eye look is on you, just switching to the brown eyeliner and smoking it out gives you this gorgeous softness. I love it.
So proud of you for trying new techniques! That shimmer w/ the drops thing, wow. End result looks the same as all your looks though. Would have loved you to try the green shimmer to mix it up and maybe a smokey lower lash. It's more than 'insert different product', it's also varying the placement, like 50's thick liner, different lower lash, playing w/ contour and things so the end luck is noticeably different. Like for Easter, I did a pretty green shimmer on the lid with a peachy/pink duochrome in the center and a darker green shimmer on the outer part and all three on the lower lashline. It was gorgeous. It doesn't always have to be peachy copper or taupey peachy pink. Try running a deep green shimmer over the liner with a thin brush with a copper lil bit in the center and same on lower lash. See what happens. Have a lil fun.
I haven't even watched the video yet - but I gotta tell you, I saw that thumbnail, and thought the video was from years ago. Because you look so much younger in it! I don't know what it is, but there is something fresh about this make up that really really suits you! ^^

I’m so happy you finally tried something different. And that brown liner is way more flattering on you then the black. Please don’t buy the peach shimmer. You already have a ton of peach shimmers. Gawgeous!!! I love the smoky brown liner and mascara on the bottom lashes. Those details just give a more natural, pretty doe-eyed look. I can’t get away with not wearing anything on the bottom anyway, since I have blonde lashes. It just stands out-black on top, blonde bottom. Thanks for sharing!

I'd love to see a day where you play with makeup. Maybe film at night so it's almost the end of the day and you can wash it off after. That's what I did when I started really getting into my makeup technique and experimenting.

I'm really glad you received this in PR because I was skeptical about whether it was something that would be either fun to play with or just not worth the price when I have so much great stuff already. You were the perfect person to do this review! I think its quite an honor to be on their PR list and I'm like WOW THANKS MARIO even though he gave it to you, not me? LMAO I just think its so great that he didn't just send it to UA-camrs/influencers who are all about the pro makeup or even just all about the full glam. I'm like, "He remembered us normal makeup people, yay!" hahaha :) I'm actually so much more intrigued to try these now because I didn't realize that the metallic shadows were meant to be mixed with a medium. I paint with watercolors often so I find mixing colors to be a really therapeutic exercise and it would be fun to incorporate that into my beauty routine!
if you’re wanting a fool proof super easy way to incorporate glitter even just as a topper that’s gorgeous, try the LA girl “Glitterholic” glitter toppers. i’m obsessed with the shade “hologram” it’s similar to the mario topper in the shade except it has more purple/blue iridescent glitter in it and is like a cream shadow. LOVE adding on top when i use (anything really, but) the rose water ELF quad!! $5.99 @ ulta.
That palette is absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy for you that you did this video because Ive been using mixing medium for so long.. not understanding why any of the people that I watch on UA-cam do not use it because it is fantastic you can turn anything into a liquid eyeliner . any shadow that you want and it's waterproof. I only follow one make up artist and I am a die hard fan of hers and she had never heard of the mixing medium mehron... I completely swear by it I can't wait to watch the rest of this video

I’m so happy you finally tried something different. And that brown liner is way more flattering on you then the black. Please don’t buy the peach shimmer. You already have a ton of peach shimmers. Keep trying new things and experimenting with different looks.
Jessica I have been watching your videos for the past seven years and I will watch them for the next seven years too. You need to give yourself more credit, you may not be a makeup artist but you do know what your doing and that is why you give outstanding recommendations and always look stunning at the end of makeup application. Love you girl!!
The only thing I can go out of my comfort zone by is make up 🤩 it can be washed after all or at the end of the day !

Jessica, I think a light wash off a colorful shadow (purple or whatever you want), would look great on you! I say purple bc I think it looks great with darker hair and eyes.. definitely would be so pretty. 💜

Wow theres something about this dye look that just looks SO good! Its giving you a much sexier look. I absolutely love it! I think that smudgey brown liner looks so much better than your normal liner look! You look good no matter what but thus just looks so good!
Gawgeous!!! I love the smoky brown liner and mascara on the bottom lashes. Those details just give a more natural, pretty doe-eyed look. I can’t get away with not wearing anything on the bottom anyway, since I have blonde lashes. It just stands out-black on top, blonde bottom. Thanks for sharing!

I'd love to see a day where you play with makeup. Maybe film at night so it's almost the end of the day and you can wash it off after. That's what I did when I started really getting into my makeup technique and experimenting.

I'm really glad you received this in PR because I was skeptical about whether it was something that would be either fun to play with or just not worth the price when I have so much great stuff already. I'm actually so much more intrigued to try these now because I didn't realize that the metallic shadows were meant to be mixed with a medium. I paint with watercolors often so I find mixing colors to be a really therapeutic exercise and it would be fun to incorporate that into my beauty routine!

That palette is absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy for you that you did this video because Ive been using mixing medium for so long.. not understanding why any of the people that I watch on UA-cam do not use it because it is fantastic you can turn anything into a liquid eyeliner . any shadow that you want and it's waterproof. I only follow one make up artist and I am a die hard fan of hers and she had never heard of the mixing medium mehron... I completely swear by it I can't wait to watch the rest of this video
