Just a head's up--on my general surgery rotation I was warned to never use a grill brush! The surgeon would have to operate on someone after accidentally ingesting a grill brush bristle at least once per year. I recommend using a stone instead!

Essie “In Full Swing” will also give you that tan look even if you’re not. I love it and it’s one of the only colors that I will wear multiple times in a row without getting bored. It’s a great shade for spring and summer!
In NY, hardly any stores have plastic bags, so I have been bringing my own the whole time. The added bonus is that if you bring your own bags, they won’t bag your groceries (I have always hated when other people pack my groceries, even pre-Covid. No one knows how to Tetris the items properly, lol).
At Meijer locations in Michigan, you can use your own bags if you use Shop & Scan (basically just scan your items as you put in your cart). Because we didn’t want to use plastic bags, we decided to learn Shop & Scan. After using it for almost a year now, we’ll never go back! It’s soo nice, and no waiting to checkout! Also it gives you coupons as you shop.

I actually found you months ago through Taylor Wynn and never stopped watching because I find you so damn relatable somehow, even though I don't have a kid and live alone. I mix it with my estee lauder double wear and apply it with my fingers and use the Maybelline fit pressed powder to set it and for me this is the most mask proof base I've found since the pandemic started!! It looks fantastic all through the day and I hate taking it off at night.

If you get headaches or are noticing hair loss from putting your hair in a ponytail yet you need to keep your hair up and out if the way, gather your hair on to the top of your head and wear a top bun/pony. Its amazing the difference.
New camera looks great! I am able to use my reusable bags but if I ever get any plastic bags then I save them up and take them to Walmart where they have a place to put any plastic bags you have for them to recycle. I’m not sure if this is helpful but it is something I do as an alternative.
We took reusable bags to Dillons, it was months ago, and they let us use then but we had to bag our items instead of the bagger at the end of the counter. Love your vlogs!
I have been using Thrive for about 6 months now and I absolutely love it! I highly recommend the Giovanni hot chocolate sugar body scrub if you haven't tried it yet!! It smells SO good.
We have been able to use our own bags for months now. But CT also charges taxes on store bags and couldn't if we couldn't use reusable bags. Also love watching you change out your makeup drawer.
I live in TN in country area so we have been able to bring reusable bags the whole time that at least I know. All we had was walmart closing super early through last year shutdown and of course all fitting rooms closed (Of course a given is mask wearing. It was everyone at first and as time has gone on people have been seen less and less wearing masks among younger middle aged people more and more and more) but that's been really it. We have been very very very blessed in my community!!

For the Ilia tint I've found that I need to use it on a clean, dry face (or very lightly moisturized - I use the cerave PM moisturizer if I've just showered) and apply with my fingers. I think if you use too many products under it (like your vitamin C serum) the squalane won't absorb properly. On days I work I just do the ilia skin tint applied with my fingers on a clean, dry face, brows and mascara and I'm done.
I didn’t know Fenty glow gloss had a cream formula!!! I love that gloss it fills in the lip lines and makes my lips look so full! Will definitely check that out 👄

Here in Northern California, some stores have gone back to letting you bring in reusable bags, but you typically either have to bag the items yourself (not a problem), or you leave them in the cart and the checker will pack the items in there, rather than on the belt. If I’m in a store that still doesn’t allow them at all, I ask the checker to put the items back into the cart loose, and then I load them into reusable bags right in my trunk (which is also what I’ve been doing for years when I forget my reusable bags in the car, like 70% of the time - lol). Our Meijer stores in the Grand Rapids, MI area allow reusable bags if you use the shop and scan on the Meijer app and use the shop and scan kiosks. Not sure how wide-spread the shop and scan is currently though since GR is the Meijer headquarters and we may get things earlier than other stores/areas. I absolutely love not having to re-bag everything at checkout.
Our Harris Teeter in Fort Mill, SC is ok with our own bags (they have been for a while) if you bag your own, but they will also do it for you if needed as of recently.
For the reusable bags. Most stores here in Louisiana will let me use them but I have to bag groceries myself, which I’m fine with! It’s totally worth it to me 💟

The next time you place a thrive order, try to pick up the Hu Chocolate snacking and baking chocolate gems! They are literally three ingredients and soooo good. Yeah, here in NH we couldn't use recyclable bags for a long time,then we could for a little while & then about a month ago they said that we couldn't use them again, but I was wondering if it was just the cashier not knowing that we could use them again. I might try again. I have fibromyalgia, so elastics, headbands, barrettes etc. give me a headache or just pinch my hair.
In Portland Oregon there was only about a month that we weren’t able bring reusable bags. Some stores have required us to load the merchandise in our bags but at stores that have self service I do that anyway.
We've always been able to use our own reusable bags as long as we pack everything. Cashiers don't touch the bags. It was always that way & remains that way. Honestly, I prefer this. My first job was packing bags at a local grocery store (we actually had to take a class on building a "base", etc) & I'm neurotic about how stuff is packed. I know, I'm weird! BTW, when we travel, if we go to the Midwest, Meijer is on my list! LOL... I miss seeing Gigi & Tyler...

In West MI, our Meijers are either allowing us to bring our own bags, or just not enforcing. I have not had anybody say anything to me when I bring mine in!
I live in Michigan so Meijer is also a favorite of mine. The Meijer I go to now allows us to bring our own bags in although staff is not allowed to bag if that’s the case. But if using the self scan where bagging your own items we can use them. It wasn’t posted I only know because I asked a worker. Possibly that’s the case at your Meijer too 😁

In southern Illinois we can use our own bands but you have to bag it yourself. I feel like almost no one around here brings their own bags regardless of COVID. I would alway get a weird look when I’d say “I have my own bags.”

Have you ever tried the Trader Joe’s “Everything but the Bagel” seasoning on a boiled egg? It is amazing!!! I know you love boiled eggs(well all kinds of eggs) and I didn’t know if you had tried that combo yet....it’s sooo good!!!

Yeah, here in NH we couldn't use recyclable bags for a long time,then we could for a little while & then about a month ago they said that we couldn't use them again, but I was wondering if it was just the cashier not knowing that we could use them again. I might try again. I have fibromyalgia, so elastics, headbands, barrettes etc. give me a headache or just pinch my hair.

In Portland Oregon there was only about a month that we weren’t able bring reusable bags. Some stores have required us to load the merchandise in our bags but at stores that have self service I do that anyway.
We've always been able to use our own reusable bags as long as we pack everything. Cashiers don't touch the bags. It was always that way & remains that way. Honestly, I prefer this. My first job was packing bags at a local grocery store (we actually had to take a class on building a "base", etc) & I'm neurotic about how stuff is packed. I know, I'm weird!
BTW, when we travel, if we go to the Midwest, Meijer is on my list! LOL...

Ya. Same here only "some" stores. I think the stores are the ones where I have to bag my own stuff though like Aldi
most stores in ct you can bring your own reusable bags but you have to bag them yourself? Otherwise, you have to pay the bag fee, they only lifted that for a few months

In West MI, our Meijers are either allowing us to bring our own bags, or just not enforcing. I have not had anybody say anything to me when I bring mine in!

I live in Michigan so Meijer is also a favorite of mine. The Meijer I go to now allows us to bring our own bags in although staff is not allowed to bag if that’s the case. But if using the self scan where bagging your own items we can use them. It wasn’t posted I only know because I asked a worker. Possibly that’s the case at your Meijer too 😁
Jess, what is the little square/rectangular light that is next to your camera? It’s kinda looks like it’s sitting on its own stand? I’ve never seen a light like that before. I think it would be perfect for me as someone who wears glasses vs. some of the other light options

In southern Illinois we can use our own bands but you have to bag it yourself. I feel like almost no one around here brings their own bags regardless of COVID. I would alway get a weird look when I’d say “I have my own bags.”

At our local WalMart we have self checkouts and my Mom always goes there and uses her reusable bags. She has started doing that again for quite a few months already😊
