  • This is our first ever video on the FJ Cruiser. Yup, this channel isn’t only focused on our bus build! We do have further plans of tricking out our truck(s), so stick around if you enjoy these kinds of videos! As always, leave suggestions on how we can do better!

Without the flares it actually looked pretty good.

Good job man. For anyone doing this consider a Multi-tool instead of a razor. Works great on plastic, wood, sheetrock, etc. Cuts plastic like butter and gives a perfect cut.

Wood burning to with a razor blade attachment would cut and seal the cut perfectly.

I am installing my fender flares now, well, attempting to. I am finding that installing the edge trim around the flare is a freakin' nightmare. The adhesive when you pull back the red tape is garbage and doesn't stick enough to hold in place. Did you have any issues with??

Is there any vibration from the wheels when you put the wheel spacer?

What type of Fender Flares did you end up going with I see everyone swearing by the more expensive bushwacker pocket series aren't there any other good aftermarket ones that do the same job after all it's plastic I can't imagine bushwacker is the only company to make good fender flares

Derek Arguello I agree, they’re just plastic after all so, why waste the money on something name brand. These were some China/Mexico made flares & they went on just fine.

What have the spacers done to the alignment and handling?

J Jack The spacers, in my opinion, do a lot to help the truck. It’s not as top heavy, it distributes the weight better which has improved the handling & it still drives straight. Plus, you get that stance look. 👌🏼 If you’re not going to put fender flares on with it, I would say the better spacer to go with is the Spydertrax 1.25” but, if you like ‘em wider, we bought these 2” spacers on Amazon.

Hello 3 years later. Hit the blades with a torch. They’ll cut quicker. Wear gloves. Don’t get bigger wheels. The FJ will end up in the first floor. Be well
