Change that sucking starter motor to normal with planetary gear. It will require way less power.
Also, that gear on main shaft must be changed too. it will damage your new gear. And make really loud noise while spinning.

That's a good idea, the starter is always a bit finicky. A newer upgraded one would be nice.
So far the gear that drives the pump has not made noise yet, but I will definitely be on the lookout. Thank you.

@@redneckkev I have the original starter on my 1977 T25 and it was just barely starting just like yours, i took it apart cleaned everything, put new grease. A 74AH battery starts it up like nothing even without using the decompressor. In my country we got a lot of those tractors and the planetary gear starters are made of very poor materials...

Thank you for the tip! I'll have to open it up and see what can be done. Thank you.

@@redneckkev I may have gotten lucky but it is free, why not give it a go, right? If you have any questions about the tractor or which oils to use or whatever you can ask in the videos, many people like me are watching from the opposite side of the planet and have a lot of books and knowledge about these tractors so i will try to answer and give you tips like everybody else.

@@redneckkevYou can also check the main power switch. If it's original you can take it apart and clean it, there should be 4 little springs in there if i remember correctly and by time as it gets dirty in there it starts heating up and messes up the little springs. Take it apart clean it, probably replace the springs and put it back together. You'll figure it out. Just saying you don't have to throw it out for a new POS one. The new parts for these tractors are very low quality. Especially from Ukraine. Best parts are from Russia and you have to be lucky for everything to fit as it should. Also it is not a Belarus but a Vladimirec. (Belarus is MTZ, Vladimirec iz VTZ) You can see VTZ on some of the cast parts.
