i need i bunch of these cuz I've started a really on off process of separating my parts by colour and I've gotten really into lego doc building in the last few months
Hey Jang, do you think one day you'd show us all the sets that you have displayed around your house? It would be interesting to see which ones you've deemed worthy to keep together and show off.
i think he said in some video that lego belong to this room and is not inviding other parts of house :D - expect some building i think it was london tower bridge where he mention this not sure though
For a starter when my son was little we started with those shoe organizers that you can screw to a wall or hang over a door. The pockets are clear or mesh. As his collection got bigger we bought bins like these and then started separating into colors then had to separate most by size and color and so on. Booklets we're stored in bins by alphabeticle order then by theme trains Minecraft elves so on. This is amazing.
I just started trying to sort my lego collection at my moms house, which is tiny compared to that at my dad’s house, but it is about one of those medium sized drawers x2 in size, and i just realized that sorting such a diverse lego collection is a huge pain in the ass
I did this, spent a wonderful few days sorting into colours, types and uses placing them all into used machine tool boxes. Looked wonderful... and put a severe dent in my MoCwork as I dared not upset the system. Soon descended into chaos when I couldn't resist the urge. I admire your discipline.
Jang, you are honestly the coolest person I've ever scene, you make my day when I watch your fun, and detailed Lego reviews I watch your channel more than I watch tv, and you are my favorite youtuber ever :D
I just wanted to tell you that this video kick-started by renewed love of Lego. I now have a (smaller) Lego building table, and sets of sorted Lego in drawers. Thank you!
This makes perfect sense, Jang! As someone who also has sorted their (small) collection once apon a time, I understand exactly how this works and the reasoning behind it. Once your lego collection gets as large as yours, more and more categories get more defined and specific. This is an amazing collection! I'm sure this video will get a LOT of views! I hope it does. Keep up the good work Jang :)
Just wanted to let you know that you are an ispiration for me , surely in the future i will start to do lego costructions , just know that you are the one who gave me the idea to fill my life with joy and legos .
I've been a fan for years now and it's pretty astonishing watching your Lego city/collection/ and channel grow. Hats off to you Jang, keep up the fantastic work!
This is incredible! I just started playing with Lego at age 30 due to my disability and Im already imagining my dream lego room I hope it looks like yours someday! :)
I am totally blown away by just how much Lego you have and just how organised you keep it, but I think that you are probably WAAAAYYYY beyond just storing it in a Lego Van and scratching around looking for a certain piece.
finally, I've been waiting patiently for this video for a while, awesome! Also, did you forget about the $5 Lego Birthday party Friend Sets, I've never seen the sets in any of your hauls. Anyways, good luck on you're mocs and videos in general! :)
Hey Jang! I just want to say that I appreciate your work and the level of family-friendliness. I have been watching your videos since 2013 on many different accounts. Keep up the good work!👍
Was hoping that you were going to be walking around Bricks By The Bay. I always keep an eye out, just in case. One day I hope to meet the person that helps ease my sleepless nights due to homesickness. lol
Jang, love your commentary! My daughter (3 yo) and I watch your reviews and I'm so happy when you talk about girls playing with legos, or when you feel that Lego shouldn't make their Lego houses with pink blocks because boys like playing with Lego houses too. So important that they know that toys should appeal to everyone! Thank you! You've gotten a subscriber for life.
Since the last few years lego introduced new small balljoint parts, it opened up a world of possibilities for complex builds. I hope they will introduce plates with rounded 1x1 corner edges in the future.
oh boy how I would make many things if I had those, I remember when I came to your channel to look at your lego hero factory mocs and occasionally ninjago related stuff each time a new season came out, to see all this that took you a long time earning more or less makes me happy that you have this big access to express your mind, keep on building
I had a plastic bin drawer, not this company but it was something similar. It had 2 large bins and 2 small bins. It got so full over the course of several years that the frame and the upper large bin had completely collapsed. But my dad refused to buy me another one with more storage until I "cleaned my room" even though the reason my room was messy all the time was because of all the overflow of paper-work and stuff that needed to be stored, but I didn't have anywhere to put. In the end, dad chucked everything away when I left home. Over 2 years of story notes and concept art gone. I hate my dad.
Ok, this may sound silly, but am I the only one who experienced some serious ASMR from this video? LOL! Love the sound of LEGO clinking together. Love the video Jang. :-)
Very cool setup. I love the brick organization.I also love the dedicated room just for lego building (so jealous). I have a big lot of Legos, some Star Wars full sets, Bionicle, even pieces from the 1970-80s from older sets. All in great condition. If you're interested, let me know. I haven't weighed them yet but I'm guessing 30-40 lbs. Very much need to get rid of these.
I wish i could have a lego collection this size but I'm a broke college student so i have to live vicariously through BrickTubers. i don't know if BrickTubers is an official term for UA-camrs with Lego related content but i like it.
Love the Lego collection and the videos, keep them coming! I just noticed what a great natural voice you have, you could probably have a career in broadcasting or commercials. Slow pace, completely understandable and confident voice.
Gotta love your love of all things brick/blok based! I am primarily a Mega Bloks collector. Have a handful of Lego sets. I'm wondering where you have all of your Mega Bloks sets displayed. Do you have another room dedicated to those sets? If so, do you ever plan to share that with your subscribers who want to see your MB collection?
I know it's been a couple years since you've posted this video but I just wanted to say I think your collection and the way you organize it are amazing. I’ve only been building Lego for a year but am starting to reach the point that I need more and more storage. I cringe at the thought of taking apart my sets but when I inevitably have to take apart some older sets or ones I’m less fond of I’ll be implementing a system very similar to yours. I am legally blind and always sort my lego by color when building sets. There are some colors where, especially in the beginning, I have had a hard time telling them apart when mixed together. This is why I could never sort my lego by type as some do. Feeling in a bin of red lego for a particular type is a lot easier for me than looking through a bin of 2x2 bricks for a dark redish brown one. When my collection is large enough, I will likely further sort each color into type so I have bricks in one bin, plates in another, etc but still one color per bin. Anyway, thanks for the room tour and the great ideas it gave me for sorting my own collection.
i love you man! you got the same type of sorting stuff as i do. i'd find anything there, awesome! but, you still got a 1000 times more parts than i do :P
PERFECT TIMING JANG. I was literally going to go back to your old vid for this, since I'm considering taking apart some of my sets, and getting some new drawers for parts :D
I think you should do it to sets you don't like as much or if they are already partly broken If you like them then you should keep it built until you get bored with it
I can agree with you on that you need parts to make good MOCs. Ever since I've sorted my collection and got stack-ons, my creations have improved 10 fold. Also I think one of the 2x6's in your old gray bin might be light bluish gray, though I could be wrong, the camera can play tricks at times. ha ha!
The Lego workshop! Nice lighting too. It is important so that you can see the pieces you're building. Very nice, but it looks like it will get full soon.
Are there any Lego sets you *haven't* got?! I've seriously never seen so much Lego in my life - it dwarfs my collection (which is already getting out of hand) but I'm actually quite glad I don't have so many parts as I'd be spending my entire life opening and closing drawers! And your Lego room is really impressive too - in fact your room is not much smaller than the entire flat (apartment) i live in.... lucky you!
my sorting-storage system has similarities with yours, I fancy the same plastic storage bins, they adapt well for the evolution of a collection, quite clean and impressive!
For those looking to find the drawers used here they are Sterilite 2895. They come as five drawer units w/ 3 large and 2 small drawers, they are modular and he mixes & matches them. The Sterilite 2803 is very nice for the larger (taller drawer) unit & it's modular - but there is no small drawer unit (less tall) that goes with it - maddening! So I am now trying the IRIS brand which includes models MC-322-TOP, MC-360-TOP, MC-303-TOP, MC-3100-TOP, MC-3111F-TOP, MC-343-TOP. They are modular & come in three colors. They look perfect for Lego. I will update.
OK so the IRIS storage drawers arrived. They are a very nice size but a very poor design. The are not as sturdy as the Sterilite ones and the drawers only open about 60%! I can't recommend. I'm going to have to live with the Sterilite 2895 in black in combination w/ other stuff. As an alternative this unit Container Store is perfect but expensive: www.containerstore.com/s/12-drawer-storage-chest/d?q=storage%20drawer&productId=10000528

Love this! It was so fun and interesting to see your setup. You're so organized. Looking forward to building a similar studio to that one day myself! Keep being awesome!
Thank you so much for making another tour I really have been waiting for two years and keep up the great work I can't wait to see the train station once it's done!
Hey Jang, the piece you hold at 33:38 (the long tube) is used in some Mars Mission sets for 'pump action' features such as firing the missiles from set 7691 or just to transport the alien capsules in sets such as 7690, personally I think they're great and unique for Mars Mission. But maybe you could implement them into something else somehow!
I sort my very big collection of Lego by piece then by color lol yes I might be crazy, it has taken me years to achieve, any time I get a new big lot it takes a long time to get it all sorted and put away, but I actually enjoy organizing it all. I always know where a piece is when I need it lol
I keep my minifigs in quite a few "nail tool boxes" basically plastic sectional boxes made for all kinds of nails. I really love them because they are portable and I use minifigs to run a Dungeons and Dragons campain as they are just that versitile.
I didn't know 90% of what was in this video, I've seen colors I have never seen before, bricks completely unimaginable, plates that couldn't have been comprehended, and more!
More to come!
NOICE lol hahahahaha sorry but good no not good great nope fantastic
Sorry for asking you this on your Lego channel but could you play (no mans sky) on your gaming channel
how much money do you think you spent on legos
hey big fan of your channel
i need i bunch of these cuz I've started a really on off process of separating my parts by colour and I've gotten really into lego doc building in the last few months
Who else would love to spend a week in Jang's Lego room?
I would give the world to build with legos with him
Me!! Same
I would pay to do that!
+RoCheSlayy s I would love that also to look round his city myself
ShadowCat me
Hey Jang, do you think one day you'd show us all the sets that you have displayed around your house? It would be interesting to see which ones you've deemed worthy to keep together and show off.
yea
i think he said in some video that lego belong to this room and is not inviding other parts of house :D - expect some building i think it was london tower bridge where he mention this not sure though
+Martin Pedál probably has a room dedicated to RC, I came from his rc channel URC.
For a starter when my son was little we started with those shoe organizers that you can screw to a wall or hang over a door. The pockets are clear or mesh. Booklets we're stored in bins by alphabeticle order then by theme trains Minecraft elves so on. This is amazing.
finally i know where lego is ordering its parts for the sets.
18:50 Spotted that helm! I had it when I was younger. kind of nostalgic to see that particular lego piece :D
the transparent blue drawer looks beautiful
dang,Jang I can't help but being worried that those towers are gonna go crashing down
9/11

"Bricks have feelings" - glad you said that. :) Made me smile, as I feel a similar way. :)
Theres something so calming about seeing thousands of lego parts nice and neatly organized. Ahhhhh
Jang, you are honestly the coolest person I've ever scene, you make my day when I watch your fun, and detailed Lego reviews
I watch your channel more than I watch tv, and you are my favorite youtuber ever :D
I never thought of organizing by color. That's a really cool system.

This is incredible! I just started playing with Lego at age 30 due to my disability and Im already imagining my dream lego room I hope it looks like yours someday! :)
i love your behind the scene vids , they really stir up the imagination and excitement that only Lego can conjure
I am totally blown away by just how much Lego you have and just how organised you keep it, but I think that you are probably WAAAAYYYY beyond just storing it in a Lego Van and scratching around looking for a certain piece.

You could make an awesome airport terminal using those huge windscreens at 29:27 to let minifigs observe the planes!
I love your setup for the whole room. it's very organized and well used.
Jang I like ur voice, I usually watch ur videos at night, and I fall asleep right away. Thx Jang :)
You are one of the best you tubers out there, I wish the best for you Jangbricks, am a big fan
I thought I was the only one who separated the pieces & bricks by color hahaha. So nice and satisfiying to watch. Good job!!
Since the last few years lego introduced new small balljoint parts, it opened up a world of possibilities for complex builds. I hope they will introduce plates with rounded 1x1 corner edges in the future.
I swear this guy can grab any LEGO instruction book and build it
Great to watch, like to see people enthusiastic about there hobby. love your channel Jang top stuff.
Amazing collection of parts man! Love your videos and reviews and definitely your MOCs!
I would kill to have that collection
Woah dude, calm down.
+Just Another Guy on the Internet it's a figure of speech
same!
I wish I could meet you Jang, that would make my life so much more awesome!
omg i only have 38.000 Parts but more organized, but your system likes work for you. Nice video dude!
Every time I go on UA-cam, the first thing I check for is a new video from you! Really the best in the AFOL community! :)
Greatest collection of Lego I've ever seen! Well, other than Lego's of course. The things I could do if I had such a collection...
Seeing the blasters drawer hit me with nostalgia. Hope the new Bionicles will get some of those!
oh boy how I would make many things if I had those, I remember when I came to your channel to look at your lego hero factory mocs and occasionally ninjago related stuff each time a new season came out, to see all this that took you a long time earning more or less makes me happy that you have this big access to express your mind, keep on building
got really excited when I saw all of those technic pieces and bionicle parts in abundance!😂

I can't stop watching your collection videos😎
I looove the transparent pieces. I wish I had more.
Ok, this may sound silly, but am I the only one who experienced some serious ASMR from this video? LOL! Love the sound of LEGO clinking together. Love the video Jang. :-)
wow!!! I am a little jealous of how amazing your collection is!!!
20:17 TOOOOBES...That had me laughing so hard 😂
Wow, cool collection! I like how you are organized!
I just love everything about this! Thank you for showing us jang!
At least your not hard to shop for at Christmas and on birthdays. Brilliant collection.
this video is actually quite satisfying
Nice system. Those foliage bins are actually kind of nice to just look at. LEGO has such a great color pallet.
Wow you actually inspired me on how to organise my parts a better way!
Very cool setup. I love the brick organization.I also love the dedicated room just for lego building (so jealous).

this level of neat organization speaks to my soul. 💙

You should always be happy with those cillections Jang,i wish I had that much of a collection!
i love you man! you got the same type of sorting stuff as i do. i'd find anything there, awesome! but, you still got a 1000 times more parts than i do :P
Wooowww great collection of lego pieces, specially the transparent ones I love them!! 😉
PERFECT TIMING JANG. I was literally going to go back to your old vid for this, since I'm considering taking apart some of my sets, and getting some new drawers for parts :D
That leads me to a question.... Should I take apart my sets? (I'm pretty sure you won't answer but YOLO)
I think you should do it to sets you don't like as much or if they are already partly broken
If you like them then you should keep it built until you get bored with it
Wow Jang that's a lot of bricks ! And parts !
I can agree with you on that you need parts to make good MOCs. Ever since I've sorted my collection and got stack-ons, my creations have improved 10 fold.
Also I think one of the 2x6's in your old gray bin might be light bluish gray, though I could be wrong, the camera can play tricks at times. ha ha!
Wow.
I hope Lego appreciates you!
I don't Lego, but I'm overwhelmingly impressed! !!
Amazing! !
Yes! I have been waiting so long for this JANG! I have just started to sort my LEGO again and this should really help. Thanks for a great video. 😀
This is a child’s heaven
I hope we're going to see another one of these soon I think you got a lot of stuff from Bricklink since 2016 eh? My OCD loves this video so much!
This is just amazing. So many bricks. I'm speechless =D
The Lego workshop! Nice lighting too. It is important so that you can see the pieces you're building. Very nice, but it looks like it will get full soon.
You have a very great part collection. I have one question: Where did you buy the small boxes inside the sterlite ones?? Example on 20:23
Great video. It really helped give me a notion of what your custom building operation is like!
Keep up the good work watched you since 2015 best luck for 2017. I think your going to hit a million subscribers in 2017
Love seeing all those bins of Lego. I also sort the same way you do.
This video is particularly helpful in breaking down the storage. Some times I don’t know how to split pieces for storage purposes!
Are there any Lego sets you *haven't* got?! I've seriously never seen so much Lego in my life - it dwarfs my collection (which is already getting out of hand) but I'm actually quite glad I don't have so many parts as I'd be spending my entire life opening and closing drawers! Holy saddle bags! Slap me silly and call me Susie. This is so needed!
I really want all of this lego!!! Your channel is so cool, stay awesome.
my sorting-storage system has similarities with yours, I fancy the same plastic storage bins,
they adapt well for the evolution of a collection, quite clean and impressive!
For those looking to find the drawers used here they are Sterilite 2895. They come as five drawer units w/ 3 large and 2 small drawers, they are modular and he mixes & matches them. The black version is still available but white version is discontinued (appear to be phasing out black version too). I tried the Sterilite 1791 but they are too small & not modular!
Lol.. ok so my wife just about had a heart attack when I brought home those black-frame Sterilite 2895 drawers. Soooo..... I was thinking about going with those Container Store units but I found something better. Michaels (craft store in the US) caries some of those “Really Useful” brand storage units. The 8-drawer unit has decreased in price to $69 and you can get for ~$55 with 20% off. Expensive but they are very nice quality and drawers are more than 3.5” tall and pull all the way out.

Bless your soul I could not find this anywhere, thank you for doing your research.
Love this! It was so fun and interesting to see your setup. You're so organized. Looking forward to building a similar studio to that one day myself! Keep being awesome!
This is perfect timing, I have just started to organize my collection a couple days ago! Thank you!
I love how you organised your Lego
Dude! This is paradise! 😱😍
I can't believe how many parts you have......it is truly amazing.....
This is a thing of beauty!!
Indeed, mine came from some of the Mars Mission sets I've reviewed!
+JANGBRiCKS but what happened to the rest of the sets?? D-,:
Most of the rest have been donated to charity.
You're the best lego reviewer and master builder I have ever known.
I sort my very big collection of Lego by piece then by color lol yes I might be crazy, it has taken me years to achieve, any time I get a new big lot it takes a long time to get it all sorted and put away, but I actually enjoy organizing it all. I always know where a piece is when I need it lol
Really rest- and peaceful thing indeed, cleares the mind. I like it sometimes more than building with the LEGO.
I've bin working on my lego storage system for some time now and this vid help allot thanks jang :D
is that a pun intended?
I watched the entire thing and it's amazing
I keep my minifigs in quite a few "nail tool boxes" basically plastic sectional boxes made for all kinds of nails. I really love them because they are portable and I use minifigs to run a Dungeons and Dragons campain as they are just that versitile.
Dude your legos are awesome! You have so many different colors and pieces!
I didn't know 90% of what was in this video, I've seen colors I have never seen before, bricks completely unimaginable, plates that couldn't have been comprehended, and more!
Geeze man! Good update video, and I had no idea that the white antenna (19:20) was rare, and I have one lol.
Awesome to see the funny similarities between my sorting system and yours, even as far as both using Sterilite drawers!
