This is proof that Fromsoft is one of the few AAA games developer's left that still has the balls to take something special and niche that fan's of it love and have a passion for and bring it into the forefront and show it off to the mainstream gaming media and casual gaming world and make it shine through that everyone will stand up and take notice This is the difference between trendsetters and trendfollowers, only those who take risks get to be the ones that everyone else tries to imitate, those that leaves a long lasting mark in the heart's and minds of gamer's, videogames made by developer's that have real passion and creative excitement behind they're work should be treated as art, which the medium was always meant to be.. let's keep reminding that to the likes of the EA's, Ubisoft's and Take2's shall we, lucrative popular licensed titles and gambling simulators today, a failed has been AAA publisher in Microsoft's pockets tomorrow
Imagine the confidence both on their name and their craft they must have to go up there, show a trailer for a dead franchise from a dead niche genre, make everyone freak out over the announcement and actually deliver a full experience that goes just as hard as their best titles ON RELEASE with a level of polishment that is quite rare for triple A games nowadays.

That's why it never blow up, since casual gamers will stop playing if they got stuck for too long in a stage. But current gen kinda enjoy soul game, and like single players game a lot, so I can see this game making a big comeback.
The Crowd: What?
The AC Fans after 10 years: FUCK YEAH!
The audible confusion from audience is gold
My first game was Armored Core 2: another age for PS2 and i was 6. You can't comprehend how much i needed this. It's like seeing an old friend of yours with his kids and 10 years of story to tell you
I am literally in the same situation as you
@@oliround Me too, except I was a little older
The Fromsoft drop had everyone freaking out but the moment a mech showed up on screen 60% of the crowd lost interest lol. Normies just don't care about mecha stuff. Shout out to my boys in the crowd there that cheered when the Armored Core name came up though. We waited a long time for this.
Young crowd, amazing game
Most gamers don't go to these things, by which I mean its physically impossible to have a sufficient sample size to truly gauge reactions.
Also you're right, its mostly younger people who have the proximity and means to go. The people that would go nuts over this trailer, and I imagine most people in general, age be damned, wouldn't care enough to actually go to one of these things. I'd wager its mostly press anyway.
@@hakageryu307 It was the biggest crowd reaction of all the ceremony, but most people cheered cause they like Fromsoftware.
I have never heard of armored core, all I know is those robots are cool as hell
You're in for a treat, the game is just absolute porn for mech enthusiasts. Customization so deep you can build for years and still have ideas.
Even if you knew nothing about the AC franchise, you gotta appreciate a good-ass trailer
it must be a special kind of feeling to know your name alone commands that kind of respect
Armored core trailers were so beautiful yet badass at the same time and the music 😩🙏🏽
This game was everything I’ve hoped for!
FromSoft have been killing it for over a decade.
Proper finished games, done right.
That helicopter scene is so effin badass
so hyped for this !
Its finally coming back....and on PC too!
please be good....please be good....please be good
It's Fromsoftware, some of the only AAA Devs who actually put out quality still. I think we can allow ourselves to be hyped for this one
@@literatedegenerate3800 Yes but AC has always been a difficult game to get right even for Fromsoft. New gameplay mechanics on this could take it to new heights or blow its own legs off.
Even if it "sucks" its fucking armored core!
@@stiimuli don't be like 5/VD
if it's like 2 it's fine
if it's like 4/4A please sign me up
@@serraramayfield9230 Miyazaki did not direct 5/VD. He directed Last Raven, AC4, and ACFA.
I wish I was there..
As a fan of armored cored before the soulsborne series, I would literally scream like a crazed fangirl if I ever saw that trailer.
I keep getting goosebumps whenever I hear that thruster buildup. I hope it's good!
I think it’s safe to say you can tell the age of the audience. Many gamers today know From Software for their souls Bourne games, but OG gamers from the 90’s and 2000’s know them for armored core.
I’m one of the latter. I have played armored core 2: another age through armored core 4, as well as silent line: armored core.
This is so awesome to have ARmored core come back! I played this series so much as a kid and finally to be able to see it come to next gen! This is going to be waesome!
My dreams and prayers have finally been answered after almost 15yrs, I'm 38yo and have been a fan and player of AC since the beginning, mechwarrior beware AC is back and it is gonna blow the world up for any shooter genre fans, fast paced aerial battles of seismic proportions weapons galore and the brutal satisfaction of an instant fatality from a critically placed hit from stake drivers, it was ahead of its time back then but now it's going to be the leader and standard setting game of its kind, BRING IT ON BABY!!!
A gem of my childhood, I remember buying a PS2 literally so I could play Armored Core games haha
My first hangouts as a teen were around playing Armored Core games. Outstanding, wow
I felt a tear roll by for how long i have waited. I lost hope years ago.
It's been ten years. I have been waiting since verdict day. My faith never failed me. Thank you fromsoft.
coming to steam. makes me want to cry. welcome back old friend.
This trailer had AC IV vibes all the way through. Can't wait!
It better have AC4A's speed.
V was a let down (but I still played).
honesetly I felt ac4 vibes with it except it has the Red Kojima LIke Particle but if u ask me it kinda looked similar energy source that the NGWIX is using in Verdict Day so I guess it might be connected or this is Years after VD or a New Timeline from AC4FA
This game is not for the faint of heart. It's difficult to steer, so people who can't get over it criticize it. Only those who can overcome the maneuver know the true value. There is also a way to become an enhanced human.
Looks like the lock on works just like souls game.
you got that right
I played this with my brother back when we were young and till now has the mecha genre failed to capture this series. Thank you
This took me straight back to being 8 years old playing Project Phantasma on my PS1, I could never beat any of these games, and yet I still bought them every generation.
Raven bros, it's time
TIME TO STRAP IN AND FIGHT FOR THE TOP RANK!
Time to break the nine
I love that the crowd immediately knew what it was when the FromSoftware logo showed up
They thought it was dark souls. They are not interested in other games, especially about robots. They are more interested in rolling than dodging
Finally FromSoftware gets to return to their first love
Technically no
You’re thinking of King’s Field my guy. That was much closer to Dark Souls.
@@Senriam I'm surprised 19 people agree to this
@@adgeifc Seeing as Armored Core has way more games than King's Field, I'd say yes.
@@KyubiMaster100 its still a no
Its more than just your regular mech game.
Its the dream to be in it!

I'm so happy. Like...unbelievably happy. It looks beautiful
Finally armoured core 6 after 11 years.
This is proof that Fromsoft is one of the few AAA games developer's left that still has the balls to take something special and niche that fan's of it love and have a passion for and bring it into the forefront and show it off to the mainstream gaming media and casual gaming world and make it shine through that everyone will stand up and take notice
This is the difference between trendsetters and trendfollowers, only those who take risks get to be the ones that everyone else tries to imitate, those that leaves a long lasting mark in the heart's and minds of gamer's, videogames made by developer's that have real passion and creative excitement behind they're work should be treated as art, which the medium was always meant to be..
let's keep reminding that to the likes of the EA's, Ubisoft's and Take2's shall we, lucrative popular licensed titles and gambling simulators today, a failed has been AAA publisher in Microsoft's pockets tomorrow
Congratulations
From this point on, you are now a Raven
"Combat mode is engaged."
"Target verified ... COMMENCING HOSTILITIES!"
中世のソウルゲームも素晴らしいけど、ここでまったく違うテイストのゲームを持ってくるのは正解だと思う
みんなそれを望んでたと思う
Imagine the confidence both on their name and their craft they must have to go up there, show a trailer for a dead franchise from a dead niche genre, make everyone freak out over the announcement and actually deliver a full experience that goes just as hard as their best titles ON RELEASE with a level of polishment that is quite rare for triple A games nowadays.
I mean. Not to sound like a fanboy or whatever, but this is fromsoft youre talking about. They're like our buddy, Rusty...they dont miss
The grease on the camera lens made me feel like I was really there
I think the crowd reaction died a bit when they realised it's not a Souls-like game.
Huge pop when Fromsoftware logo cam out lol
@@loriparker666 well, most people don't know the history. It's sad. I can't wait. Although I never played Armoured core, I know that if it didn't exist, we wouldn't have as many great things as we got. Armoured core inspired.
@@Bylov6812 I used to play it on PlayStation 2. Then it got pretty difficult to control from AC4 onwards. AC5 was okay but the machine designs to me lacked the humanoid look of the past AC games.
Once I saw that familiar head model of that 4-legged mech, I knew it's them.
It's THE original sous-like before souls was officially a thing.
@@VulcanXIV that is soo true. The first AC was soo difficult and then we have AC3, AC Silent Line, AC Last Raven. And for me the best of them; AC4, AC 4A, ACV and AC Verdict day. I've never played AC 3 and the other ones, but I saw gameplays and OMG those games are good. And today, at 5:30am in Spain I cried watching this trailer from a game that took me into the love of Mechas and intriguing histories. Thank you Miyazaki, From Software and Bandai Namco for making another game of this awesome franchise. THANK YOU.
i remember playing verdict day and my friend knew the weakness of my mech so he always took advantage of it
Amazing how the From Software logo can whip a crowd into a frenzy with no other context
The controls better be as fucked as possible, I want to be thrown back I to the days when I had to pull 360 degree Ariel maneuvers by clutch inputting almost ever button on my controller at once.
According to the designers you were supposed to hold the controller in an “Armored Core Grip.” Which, without a controller makes it look like your reppin a crip sign.
@@thebigenchilada678 "accel grip"
Get close to an enemy only to use PA or an energy sword.
They better have 4A's speed.
thank u for the live reaction omg
This studio is on fucking fire
This trailer was such a : we're so back moment
Sick they are finally bringing back AC. FROMSOFT finally getting their credit for how awesome they were in the 90s even....wishing for a Frame Gride reboot!
the trailer OOZES with old school 80's-90's sci-fi anime. imo the golden age of Anime. so oh yeah, im fucking hyped for this.
Dude, I cried. I could not contain myself sitting there watching the game show and seeing a mech on screen when the FROMSOFTWARE logo appeared. I screamed, I hopped up and down and finally I damn near bawled like a child. I haven't been that happy in years.
The hype. The energy. The community.
Even diablo iv didn't get this kind of appreciation
that's Japan for you guys, they dedicated and master their crafts for us to enjoy.
Never played this franchise before - I will now.
this has potential to be the best mecha game of all time fr
Armored core games are already the best mech games
They are, the deep customization of on a tabletop level and high demanding skill as a pilot
I guarantee you some of these people were like “dark souls 4????!?!?”
Any Master of Arena player here!?holy damn, what a moment to see this now😭
Im here 🐄
makesure your AC setup at top notch, its time bro.
This is Raven Azrael. Ready to launch.
I still got my UK Rental Only copy of AC1 >:3
Not MOA but this is raven Azure, reporting in
I am so happy to see big mecha coming back to the fore. I never got the chance to play AC myself, but having seen footage of the game I wish I had. The fact that it’s From making it means there’s a very good chance many new players will pick it up just because of the studio’s good name over the years in the Souls series, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring.
You forgot Sekiro
I'm actually a bit apprehensive of all the people coming in because "I've never heard of Armored Core, but I know what kind of game Fromsoft makes"
I think there's going to be a lot of backlash when they fire it up on launch day and it ISN'T a souls-em-ub.
Ac fans have waited a while for this
Havent played or heard of any AC games, but I'm exited for this.
Armored Core was big on Playstation and PS2
Deep mech customization and lightning fast combat

1:27 is there any other game studio that can get crowd reactions just from showing their name ? it just shows how much trust people have into Miyazaki and his team
I don't have a chance to access a PS to play this in my childhood but hear about and know it when searching for mech games 6-7 years ago. As a mech enjoyer, I am high and really looking forward to this.
Been an AC fan since the series came out. I unfortunately never got a chance to play 4 and 5, but now that AC6 is coming out this year, I am beyond excited.
Never heard of armored core until now. This looks amazing
You will remember the name for sure.
because of the "Bandai Namco", the "feed the fire" and the "from software" I thought it was dark souls 4, I was unaware of the existence of armored core
I love how first people wonder what is this game. And suddenly fromsoftware pops on, some they notices it, some didnt
I never expected it. I was busy trying to S rank the final mission of the old king ending when it popped up. God.. how i missed thee armored core
Now we got armored core after 10 years. King's field when ?
And Otogi
Ds series is kingfield
KS- dark souls. Tenchu- Sekiro. x)
I feel bad for the generation who never grew with up Armored Core.
i remeber playing the playstation 1 version. damn im old
I sadly wasn't capable of playing Armored Core. Most of my life I've had the Nintendo Wii and some of the other older Nintendo consoles. I didn't get an Xbox 360 until I was 7, and even then all I wanted to play was Minecraft and Lego Star Wars. I genuinely wish I had a chance to play the older games. They look like something that fits right up my alley; massive mechs, a ton of customization, and a whole lot of badassery.
Definitely pre-ordering AC6.
Thanks for the upload lori
I have played AC games since the PS1 my fav game series can’t wait for this
