Wow!! Good Old Sandy Hook. Went night fishing there with my Pops when I was 12 or so. Slept in the station wagon and cooked breakfast, bacon and eggs in the am. Caught 2 bass and Dad caught 0. Oh Well. I was lucky that day. The bass hit a 2 oz striper swiper, blue/white with sparkles. Not even 20' past the drop-off. Great memory from the Hook. There used to be a Stewarts Root Beer burger joint over there I think up on 35? That was 50 years ago. LOL
Would you know where and which part of the beach you can fish? All I know about sandy hook is the crowded nude beach part lmfao. Wanting to go fish this weekend with friends though and was hoping to find someone who knew where we can fish, maybe directions too?

What bait or rig were yall using?
Fresh clams and cut bunker. 4/0 - 5/0 circle hook, 40lb Fluro leader, 3-4 oz dimond sinker on fish finder rig.
