Definitely a solid buy for me once it releases in this colourway in Germany. Last years model wa already my favourite daily trainer of 2021. Really looking forward to getting the V2 on my feet. 👍🏻
Finally got a chance to snag a pair of Deviate Elites, although I'm nursing a calf injury so haven't got a chance to really "test" them yet. My Endo Speed V1's are over 400KM now, so I figured the Deviate Elites would serve as a decent replacement for the Speeds. Tempted to try the new Velocity Nitro 2's once I retire another pair of daily trainers. Given how much I love the Mach4 and it's dual foam system, I suspect the dual foam on the Velocity Nitro 2 will provide that perfect balance of cushion and stability with the Nitro foam on top, and strategically thick EVA on the bottom with that bullet proof puma grip. Great review guys!
@@TheRunTesters yeah looks like all the same experiences like i did it's just such a good bang for buck shoe . I got mine for 80 euros !! (Had a puma exclusive code lucky me) but i think it's gonna be my favorite daily trainer.. super good value
Picked a pair up fro £80 with voucher codes on most websites, as a daily trainer and update from previous model. They do the job, great cushion ride. Very warm though compared to previous.
Live in Bangkok, will buy these this week for about 55 pounds. Curious how they compare to the Mach 5 and Novablast 3. Great video, keep up the good work.
Hey Nick. This is my favorite daily trainer shoe!!! I prefer this slightly more than the Adidas Adios 7. Have not found a good equal from New Balance, Saucony, or Nike. I do use the Asics nimbus 23 which is good also.
I have the puma liberate, which to me is the best shoes I’ve worn in terms of softness. Doesn’t give that slapping feel on the ground. Enough cushioning but is very responsive. The draw back is that the upper is not well built. My ankle and heel moves around a lot and to fix that, I have to lace the shoes tighter which then gives me a lot of pain in my ankles. I am hoping that the velocity 2 are just as cushioning but more secure in the ankle area. What are your thoughts on this?
The toe box does not look reinforced. How tough is it? I've a terrible time with mesh uppers. I develop a whole above my big toes in less than two months in every running shoe like this I've ever owned. Another big complaint I have is running shoes always seem to have laces that are too damn long. I should NOT have to double knot them.
Hey! I’d (Nick) say the Speed is a faster shoe with a slightly firmer ride, and more of a rocker motion. The Velocity Nitro is more comfortable daily trainer, lacks a bit of speed compared to the Speed. Puma has much better grip though!
@@TheRunTesters Well I already find the Endorphin Speed (and Pro for that matter) super comfy and not that firm, so the Nitro must really be cushy then. Thanks. May add it to the rotation… Keep up the great work!
Does this shoe competes with the Adidas Adizero Adios 6 ? Or is it other shoe from Puma ? I loved my Adios 6, soft enough for me and very nimble + stable but now I would like to replace it with a similar shoe but from Puma.
Same here! Luv Adios 6, but I'd like to try something new. Rebel V2 and Invincible didn't work for me. I like hyperion tempo too, but I wish it was more rocked
the heel has too much padding and it feels like they are slipping off as im running (even with them fastened tight). I'd rather them be more secure. the material is just too slippy at the heel end. sure, they're comfy when you're standing still, or going down hill, but any up-hill running and these things feel 'wrong' to me. I'm hoping when they wear out a bit they'll feel more secure but honestly i'm not impressed with them. they feel kinda cheep but that might be because im not used to bulky shoes.
there's also way too much space at the heel, i've noticed. and no they arent too big for me. the actual design of the shoe is a bit off. i run hills so maybe that is the problem, if i was purely running flat i dont think i'd notice as much.
Ciao ottima recensione, ben spiegato molto professionale .
In teoria, dovrebbero andare bene. Hanno uno strato in Pebax (Nitro Infused) e il secondo strato in EVA. Ho testato le Deviate Elite e sono state le piú veloci carbon plated con pebax che abbia mai provato.
Frustrated with these. They've simultaneously improved and ruined it. It's so narrow now (at the end of the shoe) that I can't wear it. Frustrating when the other aspects of the shoe are so good (excluding the warm upper).
Really, it’s pronounced pjuma in the UK? Makes sense you couldn’t do more super shoe or Saucony ES2 reviews atm.. Small requests. More winning marathon videos, maybe?
Puma is really an excellent value for money option. Even not considering the price their new running shoes are amazing.
So true and the out of box step in comfort is something extraordinary

The color way is 🔥. Looking forward to running in these

Have 30 miles on mine. And love it more than the V1. More response I find. It is warmer on the upper which is the only draw back.
Excited to see your experience. I loved my first run in these somuch
Safe to say we’re all fans so far!

Brilliant review fellas. Would you know if Puma will make the V2 in an oatmeal colorway for men? they are so slow about supply.
This shoe sounds great. Only thing that might upset me is the width around the toes.
One thing I noticed the 3 of them have a same foot strikes, heel to midfoot strikers hehe
Great review. Should I buy true to size due to the width being narrow or half a size down?
Which one do you prefer, the novablast 2 or the velocity nitro 2? Thanks!
More to Kieran, do you think you could go long with the shoe on easy trails (just considering this v Pegasus 36 Trail). Thanks
Great review. How do you compare it to Speed 2? Thanks!!!
Thanks! Speed 2 is lighter and faster, more of a rocker to the ride. Velocity 2 is more comfortable and cushioned, and def better grip
@@TheRunTesters Bought Speed 2 due to Nick’s review. Will try Velocity 2 also now. Thanks!!!

the plastic clip at the back of v1 was solely for low light visibility........
Listening to you guys, I kept wondering how it compares to the Endorphin Speed. Similar category? Curious... Thanks as usual.

The foam composition seems similar to the Mach 4 no? Soft foam on top of EVA? Feel similar to that shoe?
Except this is nitrogen which will
Last longer than anything hoka is putting out there on their evas

Panic buying v1 on sale was not necessary it seems...
Is it still relevant in 2024
as good of a shoe this is, boy is it ugly.
