      I am a high schooler interested in ME and I was wondering if I could have a quick chat with you to get some advice. Would that be okay? I could text you on discord.

    Good video. As a junior ME one thing I should've done was apply to internships earlier in college and use office hours more.

    What are internships like in America? E.g. do you have to work alongside your usual studies, how hard is it and how long is the placement?
    Here in the UK most Unis provide a 'Placement Year' scheme and I'm wondering if an internship is worth it ontop of that?

    • @joeymyman6616
      @joeymyman6616 Місяць тому

      What an internship is really depends on the employers definition. Some internships are like a full time job and the only different thing is that it will last for only a summer or semester.

      Internships typically last for 1-3 months during summer or winter vacation. Co-ops are similar to what you mentioned in the UK and last up to a year.

    Hi . I am a bit late to your channel and I recently just decided to pursue ME. Is it too late for me to apply for internship ? Next year , I will be junior and I am not even admitted into Engineering department yet. Not until I fulfill the required courses .

    Is engineering a good career to pursue in terms of money?

    • @pignbird4007
      @pignbird4007 Місяць тому

      In most cases engineering has a high salary but this depends on where you're from. I suggest looking at your government's website for income.

      Yes, but if money is your top priority, I'd suggest considering other fields.

      @@relam491everyone says that for every field. What field would you suggest then.

      @@SjsnsidiFidid Can't really say; it depends on the individual.
      Let me rephrase what I meant; if you want to do engineering, money can't be your **only** priority. It can be your top priority though, assuming you have some love for the subject.

    Hello there Victor,
    I am a 7th grader, and I want a job that's related to the automotive industry, aerospace, or anything that requires engineering. Should I start building my LinkedIn profile now, or should I just wait for later years?

      i love how driven you are, but please enjoy your childhood. anything you’d put on linkedin only matters after the 9th grade.
      just make the account, and stay driven in high school
      praying for many scholarships and success for you
      God bless
