    I need to watch more of your videos, this one was really insightful. No one ever interviews the single independent women that live down there.
    Thanks!

    This is the first time I watch one of your videos. As Mexican, I appreciate your and Sunny’s Mexico culture understanding and respect. She’s very pleasant and witty!

    • @sunnysorensen9521
      @sunnysorensen9521 4 роки тому +1

      Well, I can't really teach people "how" to paint. What I can do, and have done, is help them to see as an artist does and to develop their own skills. Mostly I have provided instruction in composition, the bones of making art, which can be taught and learned with practice. If you are really interested in learning, buy Carlson's Guide to Landscape Painting and do every thing he says several times. A cheap dollar investment and a lot of elbow grease.

    @wholovesyababy5574 4 роки тому

    Hi. I have so many questions. Perhaps you have already addressed them in other videos. I would love to do what Sunny did - retire to Mexico as a single senior (a bit younger though). How do you handle paying taxes on social security and a pension to both the US and Mexico? How do you handle driving - Do you get a Mexican driver's license or use your US driver's license? Is it better to drive to Chapala from the States so that you have your car, or is it better to buy a car when you get there? Is it better to ship your furniture, or buy new furniture there? Where do you recommend staying while you are figuring out where to live in Chapala? It's a very big undertaking! Please address these issues of relocating.

    • @RichVarney
      @RichVarney  5 років тому +1

      Hi Dion, thanks for the comments. I'd suggest to continue to work in sales. That could be in real estate or in other areas. You would need to get your work visa for Mexico to legally work here. I wouldn't suggest working without it. Cheers Rich

      @@RichVarney Thank you for your reply Rich. Do you have some sort of site where you can apply to these kind of jobs?

    • @RichVarney
      @RichVarney  5 років тому +2

      @@dionjav6773 I'd recommend coming first for a visit and talk with the locals. In this case in playa del carmen. There are plenty of work opportunities in that area due to the large demand of tourists visiting the area. There is nothing better than actual face to face market research when looking for a job. I've personally never used employment websites to find a job in Mexico. However, there are many to choose from. Good luck in your search

    • @sunnysorensen9521
      @sunnysorensen9521 4 роки тому +3

      Some of the work is done by me. Roman spends about six hours a week in the garden and pool. Others haul away "stuff " at a cost.I provide tools and pool cleaning equipment. Roman gets a very nice Christmas bonus and a painting every year, and an ongoing supply of fruit. When I'm in the states, his family has use of the pool. That's the best I can do on my budget.
