immediatly followed. Great idea, great performance. Theese are the roles female actors must occupy. I love strong dark women. Make them the actual heros.
SO FUCKIN GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! your acting is ON POINT, and the switches were FLAWLESS. You make an incredible alto, and your deep vibrato is just gorgeous. AND THE FIRST “NOO!” WAS SO CHILLING. INCREDIBLE WORLD
holy mother of GOD im losing my MIND over this?? i studied "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" last year in extension english and it lead me down quite the rabbit hole and holy FUCK AM I GLAD IT DID?? my boyfriend has accidentally got the lyrics to this memoried bc in the last 4 hours i have basically had this on loop lmao thnak u thank u for this i would die for u
At last! I love it. I've been waiting patiently for this. You're my second favourite Hyde. Second only to Warlow (Truly take that as a compliment, I've listened to so many Jekyll and Hyde performances taking spot two on the list is beating at least 50-100 other performers). You really do Hyde justice. Jekyll as well but it's your Hyde that really gets me. The rough and raw qualities of your Hyde voice compared to your Jekyll. And a time or two Hyde's voice slithering feel to it. And the force behind your voice (for both characters) was really great. Then finally the good, well-meaning intent, and regret filling Jekyll's voice compared to the evil lurking in Hyde's completes the performance so wonderfully for me.
Thank you so much!!! That's an amazing compliment, I really appreciate it. Thank you for sticking around for this one. I've had so much fun singing as Hyde, I'm glad to see that you've enjoyed it as well. Again, thank you :)
Thank you for making these amazing covers! They’re so much fun to listen to and perfect for my AU-making brainrot lol. I’d seen a couple female covers of this song but this is definitely my favourite, amazing job on the acting and emotion 👏
This song fits Rozy so well. If anyone reads "The Neighbour upstairs", than you'd know what I'm talking about. It's a thriller Webcomic. And Rozy's character is the protagonist.
Wowowowow Ok Jekyll and Hyde is my new obsession and i really wanted to see if there was a female cover of it because when i try to sing it hurts but this is just so good i love it
My boy, I derive no pleasure in telling you that you are in extreme danger. Even as we speak, lurking in this very room waiting to strike are forces of evil. Every man has possessed of both good and evil. - Dr. Henry Jekyll, The Pagemaster (1994) You've known what I was about each time you drank the formula. - Mr. Edward Hyde, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)
I think that if you changed it to "girl" instead of keeping it "man "(which isn't bad of course to keep it) and sing the first verse with the "good" aspect of as the beginning, like a innocent yet desperate question and the second part with the "mad" aspect with a more sinister voice which would give subsequently a more sinister weight to the question (and also a small sexual hint because we are talking about Hyde and in this play especially) and signaling the coming of Hyde in the next verses.
This is wonderful! The only tiny criticism I'd give you though is that this is a female cover and you changed Edward Hyde to Edna Hyde, yet you still kept the line, "Am I a good MAN?" rather than saying, "Am I a good woman?" Same with "It's such a fine line between a good MAN and I..." I'm not trying to criticize, but changing those lines would've really made it feel a little more complete as a cover, that's all. :)
@@Pixiegeist11 Wow, rude much? No it's not, it's just one extra syllable. It's still short enough to cheat it. "Wo-" would just have to be said softer and faster before emphasizing "man." It's not that complex.
I can actually see this show working Harriet Jekyll is a knowledgeable if underrated midwife serving the fallen women of the East End championed by her soon-to-be husband who encourages her to help the scarlet women and even bankrolls her efforts to the consternation of her soon-to-be father-in-law Danvers Carew. Harriet has long been fascinated with the transformative power of drugs. If opium can turn a good Christian housewife into someone even the East End harlots wouldn't recognize surely there's some combination of powders that can reverse the problem. Her experiments actually yield success,,HJ7 a concoction that can separate and distill the evil influences from a person. Denied the chance to experiment or even the funds to continue research, Harriet embarks on a dangerous path of self experimentation. Edwina Hyde is unleashed upon the world. Not just a distillation of Harriet's darker desires and unspoken impulses she'd set's out to live the life and do the things Harriet cannot or will not. A series of murders strikes the heart of the medical community many of them the men who previously ruled against Harriet's research Has her bitterness and resentment been given form and function and what happens when Harriet discovers her beloved fiancée unknown history with an East End "Dancer" named Lucy with whose he had a brief but passionate affair prior to their engagement

I love how feral your take on Hyde sounds. I'm terrified she'll leap out of my PC to bite off my face!
