Lovett attended UCLA to pursue journalism, landing positions at the L.A. Times and NBC before moving into the AdTech space. Lovett began ‘L.A. in a Minute’ through a desire to share the culture & history of his hometown. Just about to comment this, had to look it up though.
Darwin spent from 12 January to 14 March 1836 in Australia and Australian waters. He visited Sydney, travelled over the Blue Mountains to Bathurst, explored Hobart and its environs as far as New Norfolk, and spent a week at King George Sound in Western Australia.
This isn't the first time he's gotten that wrong. I remember correcting it last time.
