Your tips n Technics have helped me greatly in the restoration of my 66 Mustang, I only which I had the room to do all of the work in house. My car is currently at the body shop. The owner has been great to me, he is allowing me to come in and get dirty with the blocking and sanding. I've replaced all the fender, doors hood and trunk lid .Welded in the new floor pan all at home before it went to the shop. Keep up the great work. Keep fighting the good fight.

I rescue and restore VW busses/pickups and 50’s to 71’s transporters in Charleston, SC. I’m 78 and have learned a lot from your channel. You and Fitzee are my favorites, I have always said “hang” and it lifts me up to hear it. I’m staying tuned in each day to see what you are working on. I’m distracted easily and jump around on my projects also. I feel a kinship through your channel.

I met “Crustie” in Shrewsbury Massachusetts at a VW show and he had the Single Cab with “Raymond Lumber” on it along with some bicycle s he built. He is a very experienced, talented, energetic person. Busses are a lot of fun, especially the unibody construction.

Learning every day. My favorite so far is the second Bugatti out of the old Chevy. Looking forward to seeing that finished and painted.
Favorite tip is using exhaust pipe and welding panels. Watching this last 8 mos has given me the kick in the backside to make an HHR into a pickup. I am 65, retired 10 years and this is my 3rd project. '52 Chevy pickup, original frame with S-10 components, including the Iron Duke, Mustang II front and steering. A '95 Chevy van conversion build....James

Thank you for all you do on here you have really gave me the confidence that I can do my car I have been wanting to do it for some time now I have had it for 34 years it’s a 1970.5 Camaro it was my mom n dad’s car and they are both gone now

    • @i8ntnuts
      @i8ntnuts 2 роки тому

That’s a great year Camaro. Some of them are very desirable depending on the options. I don’t know what your plans are for the car but if it’s drivable and you are thinking about restoring it my advice would be to do one thing at a time. The suspension is usually a good place to start. If it’s your first car it would be wise to keep it in drivable condition between jobs.
Too many people have dreams about building a beautiful car and they start by taking everything apart. Often times the result is that the car never gets put back together because the owner gets overwhelmed. This advice may or may not apply to your project.

You are doing Gods work, son. Thumbs Up! 👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼
    Historical note:
Chad & Jolene eventually got married and had a son. Chad's channel rose to prominence on the ability to draw viewers in with his work videos by the thousands.
His friendly demeanor, humbly honest presence & bravely independent attitude as he assertively states frequently
"I am doing it my way, you do it your own way". Many people are drawn to that combination of characteristics.
He is providing vicarious employment and enjoyment and inspiration - especially needed during the "covid years" when staying home became commonplace for humanity,
eroding existant infrastructural norms and values as we all began to deal with societal & cultural interrelational issues at the same time as a world wide pandemic. At this time, we witnessed the rise of Jordan Peterson and subsequent early examinations & conversations about "the meaning crisis" .

I’m making a custom Packard Speedster two seater. Fir 15 years I have thought of this car in two tones, dark green and an Ivory. Last week I was preparing to order the Connolly leather in those colors when I noticed a ‘55 Packard red. I started revising my color sketches and now have convinced myself that the Ivory and Red are more appropriate colors. And today, for the proof you are using a VERY similar scheme. I love it. Thanks for the inspiration. Hi Jolene! 🤌🏽.

To make the tape less sticky for direct adhearsion to new paint, stick the tape onto your pants first to pick up some fibrous lint then apply it to the fresh paint. It will greatly lesson the tape's adhearsion. 😃

Good luck Jolene. You could always get a job as a cinematographer. Or give lessons to other youtubers that think they know how to film.
Projects are looking good. And you are absolutely correct, anyone who asks why it takes so long, or costs so much to paint a vehicle, has never been involved with it or done it.
You were right about complaining as well. Take your five minutes to blow off steam, just so your head doesn't explode, then you take a deep breath smile and move along.
