Yes!! (Pun intended☺️) I remember just jamming off the music for years.. Then, one day, I was driving home from work, feeling sorry for myself, in an emotional holding pattern after a painful breakup. Song came on. He said, "Shake! Shake yourself!" And for the first time, I listened to everything he said. I pulled over. It was like 5 wise men, 3 therapists, a couple of psychics and a motivational speaker sat down in that car with me that day... I couldn't stop crying. He was saying quit livin in fear, and will yourself to take more chances.. Couldn't believe all that tough love and such a deep message was buried in that song all along! I have loved it ever since! ♥️☺️🎶

@@mikecole1664 I think the song is actually telling this. The text "owner of a lonely heart" is tearfull and utterly sad often repeated and screamed out. The text "is more better than a broken heart" is only said in a trie to give some rational comfort. Feelings cannot be comfortably rationalised. This song was played when I was a kid. Now as owner of a broken heart so many years later I think I understand the meaning.

Great job on the fades and the timings of everything. I don't think there was a push one button perfect edit tool back then or even now, for that matter. I know it took you some time to do it. down to the frame and the sound track seconds. The human touch will always rule. Yes rules, timeless. The song rules,.....ever have an event happen in your life or meet new people time and then hear this song playing in your car, or, "your" song, at the exact moment you get in and turn the key to leave a place in your life with good memories, and every verse, every word, in the song has meaning relating back to multiple topics during a 2 hour great time with friends talking and telling and sharing and laughing and needing and honesty, and you just said Goodbye and still feel a hug given and received at the door on the way out and now your head is tingling so much....and you can't remember the last time you had a natural high like you are having now. I only hope everyone can have things like that happen in their lives. It takes you right out of phoney baloney and headphones and smart phones and into real feeling and life. It changes you and stays with you. It helps if you have a great car stereo too. Oh yes, remember the stereos some of us had with speakers the size of coffins, (Polk Audio SDA 2.3's). YES!, They are there with you!

I remember this song playing over the radio in GTA Vice City as I drove a yellow Infernus from one end of the beach to the other in the middle of the night using the cinematic camera so it would look cooler 😂

Ugh, I dislike it when people focus too much on how old a work is, as if the new stuff is somehow better. If a song or larger work is in any way inspiring, emotionally moving, or otherwise helpful to humans in expression of emotions, and it resonates over the generations, even centuries, then it is good music, bottom line.

    Verse 1]
    Move yourself
    You always live your life
    Never thinking of the future
    Prove yourself
You are the move you make
Take your chances, win or loser
    See yourself
You are the steps you take
You and you, and that's the only way
    Shake, shake yourself
    You're every move you make
    So the story goes
    [Chorus]
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    (Much better than a)
    Owner of a broken heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    I know (x3)
Maybe there's another way to do this
    {Music Video - Break}
    [Verse 2]
Say - you don't want to chance it
    You've been hurt so before
    Watch it now
    The eagle in the sky
How he dancin' one and only
    You, lose yourself
    No not for pity's sake
There's no real reason to be lonely
    Be yourself
Give your free will a chance
You've got to want to succeed
    [Chorus]
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    (Much better than a)
    Owner of a broken heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    [Bridge]
    After my own indecision
    They confused me so
    Owner of a lonely heart
My love said never question your will at all
In the end you've got to go
    Look before you leap
    Owner of a lonely heart
And don't you hesitate at all - no no
    Yow!
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
    {Instrumental}
    [Chorus]
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    (Much better than a)
    Owner of a broken heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    (Much better than a)
    Owner of a broken heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
    [Outro]
    Sooner or later each conclusion
    Will decide the lonely heart
    Owner of a lonely heart
It will excite, it will delight
It will give a better start
    Owner of a lonely heart
Don't deceive your free will at all
Don't deceive your free will at all
    Owner of a lonely heart
Don't deceive your free will at all
    Just receive it
    Just receive it
    (Owner of a lonely heart

I did not know this song was from Yes! I heard this song countless of times on AlfaRock (I live in Puerto Rico), and never got to hear who was the artist. Later, I see a show called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and the ending song is Roundabout by Yes. I look for songs of the band, and I end up here. Awesome song!
