I had the same problem, so I contacted Do All. They suggested taking off the main spring, rotating the mechanism through its normal movement by hand and pay close attention to whether the sliding plate that allows a clay to drop clears the hole the clay drops through completely. They said if it interferes only a little bit (eighth of an inch or so) , file the area that is in the way down. If it is more of a clearance issue than that, there is an adjustment screw on the cam arm that can be fiddled with. Hope this helps.

What I did to remedy my problem is to wrap the two back legs (near the off/on switch) of the clay holder with electrical tape - wrapped about 2" of the bottom with what looked like a funnel/wedge - more warps near the bottom and fewer near the top of the 2" wrapped section - forcing the clays to move to the front of the machine - even at this steep angle. At the steep angle the thrower is shown on the video, the clays slide to the back of the machine and don't drop correctly - get hung up and break. I don't have this problem anymore and didn't have to adjust anything on the machine - maybe Do-All can make some "slip on teflon" wedges that will remedy this problem. I though I was the only one that "used to" have this problem.

Make sure the screw that is holding the bearing under the clay stop/holder is tight. It is hard to get to because it is above the thrower arm but it can be done, use a screwdriver bit and a 1/4" wrench. if it is loose it will not open the slide stop fully when the clay drops. Also like the fellow henry said try cycling it by hand without the spring of course' and watch the cycle , the rearward part of the stop plate under the top where the feeder tube screws in may have a little too much play there. you may have to make a little washer to move the plate up closer to the top of the thrower.you can see most of what i'm refering to at 1:25 of your video. hope this is of any help.

I dont have this machine but I think it may be a 108 mm unit and your using 110 mm clays, causing the additional drag.

Looks to me like the problem was from the severe angle of the thrower

It looks like to me that the pigeon is dropping too late. The arm is already past the hole a just a little when it drops. to remedy this there is an adjustment screw. The cam has an adjustment slot in it. loosen it slide the cam forward a little then tighten it back down. it is located near the shaft that rotates the throwing arm. the bolt goes through the cam through a spacer and has a nut under the throwing arm. It adjust how soon the cam pushes the bearing that slides the tray that allows the pigeon to drop.
