Thanks. Have had a Do All thrower for several years now. Love it. Only thing I've had to do is replace the relay a couple of years ago. Now, if you folks would make a clay rabbit thrower, I would be in hog heaven.
I'm having some major issues with my GDK clay trap (exact same unit, sold by GDK in the UK). Every clay is breaking. :-( The targets drop perfectly into the throwing arm. Bristles seem fine and keep the target from dislodging. I found that the throwing arm rubber was worn and in fact slightly bent. I replaced that (a relatively cheap throw away part) but no luck. I thought it might have been the spring tension, but I've slackened that off and it hasn't remedied the situation. The throwing arm appears good. All straight and true. I have another unit and it throws my clays well, so it's not a dodgy batch of fragile targets. Any ideas?
Just bought one. Assembled it tonight and right out of the box broke 50% of the clays while feeding. So I found what helped was advancing the thrower tray farther ahead by just tapping the button. But I am assuming that there is an adjustment so I Dont have to do this everytime. But everyone I would inspect and looked like it fell all the way down throught the main hole onto the thrower tray. Any help would be great.

The fix was puting a piece of sticky back sandpaper on the crescent shape rubberbholder on the top. Works like a charm now.
Any idea why the clays break when they drop onto the tray? They fling out in pieces
Mine do the same thing. They dont break from dropping. Mine break from being flung out.
Mine right out of the box broke 50% of clays. Couldn't figure it out for the life of me
