This channel is addictive; it has become my tea-time companion! Our class IV English teacher (1980's) was the first to tell us that we follow the UK English, and corrected my classmate's pronunciation of "schedule." I can never forget that. So, all my screen gadgets are set to the UK English, and the red underline when I miss out the u in colour or favour, amuses me😀 (I don't get a green underline though) By the way, still looking for "itinerary"🙂🙂
These videos are so productive. I will make sure I watch all his videos so that I can better my english. Thank you so much english nut for providing these content for free.😁
As a poet maybe, I quite keep distorting grammar sometimes ( not really intentionally though) but still I know it is an excuse. Thank you so much for such lovely videos.
Dear Sumanto Chattopadhyay, the English Nut I am an English teacher. As a teacher I would like to say that I have been completely transformed since I subscribed your channel. I truly admire your wavelength and grip over the content. You have inspired me and my generation of teachers. Keep Rockin'...👍👍👍 Thanks and Regards Sunil, Mysore-Karnataka.
Waiting eagerly for some interesting and informative snippets from you ! You have managed to demystify the many nuances of the language for common people like me and have made it easy , fun to learn new features of the language . Literature and grammar are no longer boring but on the contrary very interesting to be studied , not necessarily as a school / college subject but even as a hobby .
I don't really use words like 'like' but you know, sometimes I'm out of words like I don't know what else to say, I mean I try but like it's very difficult to do that, you know. 😂
I can't understand why you are not gaining subscribers you deserve😵. Now I know, these are those people who can't understand what you say👍🏼. Btw keep doing ❣️🙏🏻
I din’t know of this channel until I’ve accidentally watched a video, Since then I made it a point to watch a video everyday and improve my english language. Thank you for your work.

Honestly .... after seeing your some videos i felt that i have to be improve on my English specially in my words which is usually used by me for communication with others ... so all thanks to you to make me realise to think about these things which is avoid by me by mistakenly and i don't know about it ... THANK YOU❤❤
I am a regular viewer of your videos. Can you please make a video on how to pronounce words starting with "Co" for example congratulate, condemn, condone etc. Thanks and regards
Dear english nut,i am from Bangladesh, why Don't share some tips relate about IELTS writing,i am sure that will help lot us over there, and here. I think my request may consider your attention.
So in my school talking in English wasn't compulsory, the way it was in my friend's where they had to pay fine. I literally started speaking in English only after I started working. Though my speech is fine, I have been working on my writing ever since. Which is why I do admire those who come from vernacular and speak broken English. Though I don't have any inclination towards making a video, I may write a book some day. Kidding there! 😁😁 Thank you for teaching us, week after week. 🙏🙏😊
Hi sir ,in our school my english mam shared your video sir for improving our English speaking skills when I put your channel name I found sir thank you sir for encouraging and telling alternative words 🙏 love from tamil nadu ❤️
Good afternoon sir... Yes sir, what you explained in this video about.. # One of many is the common mistake most of us do!!! You have given a crystal clear explanation on this...I feel😊 . This is the third video I have been watching since one of my English lecturers suggested about your channel recently .# THE ENGLISH NUT... 🤩
Expect much more content. Like your explicit expressions. Many just cover the answer part. It would be nice if you could come up with the basics of asking questions which is very rarely thought about. Thanks.
Discourse markers are an integral part of any language. The native speakers of a language use them quite often. These words and phrases are as much as a part of English as is "the". Overusing them can seem a bit unbearable, but they are certainly not disposable elements. They add beauty to the language, by making it sound more organic, more natural.
'Literally' is another such filler word buying us more time to think about our response these days. 😅 Using 'literally' repeatedly can be a turn off. Thanks for this amazing video. I now realize it was posted a few months ago. 🤔🙄😆
Way to go brother. Your channel will be one of the topmost youtube channels in the days to come. Good luck! Best wishes galore! You are an inspiration for a novice like me. Thanks a million! 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝

Thanks! :) Do spread the word about the channel.
Thnx❤ it's my pleasure @@TheEnglishNut
I agree
@@vijay_academy brother you are making him question his presentation!!😅😅😂
@@PandoraApocalypseMee too.
“Avoid Using about after discuss”. That’s one of the few things that I learnt recently 😁
What should I use then? For eg. If I wanna say... Let's discuss about what happened in the last meeting. How should I say this without using 'about'?
Divya Rani
Discuss itself means to talk about. No preposition is required in such a case. We can say “Let’s discuss what happened yesterday.”
@@nageshnaik2122 oh yeah yeah.... Thankyou so much 🙏
Divya Rani Welcome😊 .
Thanks

"I didn't knew" is also one of the commonly used mistakes.
To anyone wondering - the correct sentence is ''I didn't know''
Yes, that's one of them!
"With did we don't use past tense." I was corrected by me teacher in class 8.

These videos are so productive. I will make sure I watch all his videos so that I can better my english. Thank you so much english nut for providing these content for free.😁
When I'm explaining something, I use 'basically' (or 'essentially') for no good reason. Simply to gather my thoughts before I can present them 😭
I think that is a good reason in and of itself!
Same
I am lucky that UA-cam recommended me this channel. I learnt how to speak in a humble way. Thanks a lot.
Now this is what we called a real content 👍 Be determined and keep going English nut ...... Subscribed your channel .
I don't know why but I feel like using the words such as "like", "umm" makes the conversation more easy to comprehend and realistic...

That video is really enjoyable 😍
As a UPSC aspirant, I already knew such kind of mistakes
I am very unimpressed by people using 'you know' straight 5-6 times in a single sentence.
I can also associate to you! But I use 'I mean' and 'basically' likewise.
It's a trend these days to use "you know", "legit", "literally" etc.

This is highly informative. "one of the..." is a common mistake. I was just wondering if the double negative at 2:20 was meant to be so.
Good observation. Yes, that's an Americanism. I threw it in to separate it from the style of the other sentences. :)
I too use often -like and literally
Repeated marker discourse I use "like, u know, I mean"
