Hey, I plan on removing my maxi's current tail lights and putting in new ones, That adhesive, is that necessary? Lets say if the new ones I buy doesn't include that gooey stuff, can I still put the new light on with the bolts and go about my way?
this was helpful my Taillight on Nissan Maxima 00 need a new bulb in the stop light so in the video do i need to do the same were i have to the hole thing just to get the old light bulb out or is there and easy way then taken the hole thing out ??
What do people replace the glue with when swapping out a tail light for one pulled from junk yard? Will caulk do? Trying to keep rain from getting into trunk
If you're talking about the market lights take a piece of plastic preferably or screwdriver and wrap it with a rag so it doesn't scratch it and push out on the ends not the middle
Thanks for visiting our channel on UA-cam. We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this particular repair. Have a great day, 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Mine was the same I took a screwdriver wrapped in the rag. If you could, use something softer like plastic or wood and wrap it as well. I started on one corner and work my way around. Patience and good luck

The process may be a little different on your year model. We will keep this vehicle in mind for future videos.
