I’ve been pred on Xbox a lot. These tips are good. The biggest thing holding people back from getting pred if their positioning and game sense. Knowing when to take a fight, when to leave, and where teams are on the map will get you pred.
I definitely need to work on decisions and positions as well maybe I could have you on the channel some time?
@@mobisthebum I am 100% not the best player in this game. But I have 4 animated pred badges. I can confirm that decision making is much more important that being the most mechanically skilled player in the lobby.

Great stuff! The R1 swap for firing is actual 🔥. Ive been rocking evolved layout. First impression I think swapping crouch to L-stick - feels amazing. It really shows how much my aim had to compensate for the R-stick crouch. Moving is easier. It's actually kind of freaky lol
It'll take some firing range time to swap my super gliding/gunfight movement from L1-Rstick to L1-Lstick. But wow. This makes a ton of sense. Def an adjustment. I see the physical efficiency and sense behind it. This makes me train a bunch of really terrible rstick habits away - thanks dude! Liked and subbed. Undecided if I'll keep my ALC settings or not.

I can attest for the button replacement tips you suggested, it's the most effective ones they changed my game completely.
I have my jump and slide switched tho because I started it with rainbow six siege as in L1 is my crouch so I import this to every shooting game I play. (and I also think it's the better choice over all since we tend to hold crouch rather than press it like jumping so holding L1 is way easier especially if you want to crouch spam)

Ngl the swapping attack from RT button to RB button just blowed my mind.. been playing like s8 till now s17 and i never ever think about this.. i can tell this really improve the speed you shooting because your finger is much closer to RB while RT is mili second away from your finger. much thanks ❤️

Linear FTW, i was 4-3 classic since day 1 and 2 season ago i switched and omg its a HUGE improvement, kinda touchy but once you get use to it, its a beam and tracking is 1000x better. dosent feel clunky and shit like classic.

Bumper for attack is a double edged sword for me, it feels like initial shots are clean with sniping but, it feels like it puts my had in a position that has worse range of motion thus making my tracking worse idk maybe just me

If you don't want to swap bumpers kill the deadzone on your triggers and you don't have to pull all the way too shoot
just changed my sensitivity and it helped alot my aim got way better!
What i do so i can loot faster is put reload/interact/pick up to R1. This makes it so i can jump(L1), Crouch(R3) and loot/reload(R1) without ever getting my fingers off the controller without paddles or claw
You need paddles. Just get them and get good with them.

when i played on console with ps4 controller I was forced to change shooting to my bumper button because my r2 button broke realized how much better it was so now I use that all the time even with my new ps5 controller lol

changed all my keybinds to yours and i have to say R1 to attack is the best thing ever i kept losing in close range pvps and now ive changed my keybinds it shows how much potential my aim is

Haven’t used these yet but I know these will work! However the bumper won’t be useful because my fingers are only naturally on the triggers(I use my thumbs for joystick and index finger for triggers) the rest are useless except for help in holding the controller, thanks again!

These tips are good and can be really helpful,but one thing I noticed for myself is when I use the R2 I shoot way faster than with R1.

One additional tip when in the firing range use no attachments but sights and extended mags

Sometimes try no sights or mags too. Just trying your best to 1 clip dummies (or atleast break mythic shields) with no attachments or aim assist helps to get the fundamentals down.
Even better put no Mag on the R99 and the dummies on purple . U gonna see when u got a gold Mag 😈
thanks for the tips the only thung i did before is oushing my back button (crouching) whilr in fight so i wont get hit as often😂 but the recoil smoothing thing is great👍🏻

I used to play 4-3 linear for a bit of time. My shots on close range were more precise, but in middle to long distances I was lacking precision. For me 4-4 classic is the way, this gives me a decent precision either up close and long range. Obv controller isn't made for long range precision, but I like consistency more than anything else. But that's just my opinion ofc.
P.S. I'm rocking 4-3 linear once again, I'm giving it a second chance. I'm using 4 instead of 5 on hipfire/movement sens because I got too used to this value. Do you think it's gonna work anyways? What are the pros of having this much sensibility?

I personally prefer crouching with left stick instead of right since it was a little awkward for me using the same stick to aim that I have to press down to crouch. Everything else is super helpful for me tho

Personally i think go for a along thr lines of default ads in alc and then fuckin boost the extra yaw and pitch to max, put the response curve to 0, put the outer threshold to like 2% and inner deadzone to 0%. This is just what i use for optimised movement with aim, idk what u like to use but worth the try 💪

You don’t need to use claw it’s just suggested for the best performance, plus if you don’t you won’t get arthritis 😂

I have been having problem were when i try to aim i lot of the time press too hard and hit the melee input
It has caused me to lose lot of fights which could have been easy
Rebind your melee to a different button is what I did
Did that i have now switched it with crouch
With that change other thing while trying out crouch to input from right joystick is that the toggle instead of hold option seems much better in this case
As for other inputs change for jump and such
I think I ll try to get comfortable with just one change instead of doing all of them at once
Crouching while aiming can help you but melee while aiming won’t, that’s why I have crouch on right stick

Jumping with the left trigger and changing your tabs to aim and shoot with crouch /sliding with your right stick you’ll never have to take your hand off the controller.. bumper jumper tactical custom more or less

Another good tip i feel is everyone should turn FOV up to 90. The default really limits you and in my opinion is a handicap.
90 is still very low, 102-104 is the best for sure

Game sense is acquired by just playing the game and observing and learning from it
If you don’t have good game sense you could have the best aim or movement but still not even be in diamond

With the same button layout, it is hard for me to crouch (hold) and control recoil with ads at the same time
I can’t even lie, this guide revealed to me that my button layout is what makes me terrible. Especially having my crouch on R3. That ruins all my movement and limits my aim. Thank you so much 🙏🏾
