True, most of the cubing channels out there doesn’t really talk about how the cube performs at all, but J Perm does, which I really like because I can know which cubes I should decide to buy quickly. (Not saying that other channels suck ok?)
Helpful review. I bought the Gan 4x4 and found it is possible, with a little bit of wiggling, to get the tensioning tool in between the center caps without removing them. Overcomes a major irritating issue you rightly pointed out.
When I saw that you posted a review on the Gan 460, I was really hoping you wouldn't say it's really good, because I just ordered the Mini Wuque M. Such a relief when you basically said it sucks within 15 seconds! :) Edit: I just reached the part where you said you prefer the normal Wuque over the Mini one... :/
I'll be getting the mini wuque soon and setting it up myself so we'll see! it's good, just not as good as the wuque as far as I can tell for now. it's better than the gan for sure though
Great video and I love how you give an honest review! I own a GAN 460 M myself, and I can tell you so far, it wasn't worth the $60. The cube can be good at times, and its outer layers are extremely fast like you said, but the corner cutting isn't that great. The cube does feel kind of flimsy and I get a lot of catches as well as major pops if I try to go fast. Slice moves aren't easily executed either. Unless you want to flex about having a GAN 4x4, then I would say to go for another 4x4 cube than this one.

On my Kylin V2 M, when I loosen it to get better corner cutting I overshoot a lot but when I tighten it so I don't overshoot it gets worse at corner cutting. What must I go for?
J Perm- do you think it’s likely that Gan will release a V2 of the 460 to address the issues with this puzzle? I assumed they would put out a sub par version 1 like they did with the 249. Smart business move to be honest, sell the ok cube, then release the same cube with slight design improvements to sell the same product a second time. If they do, I will wait for the 460 V2
I use Uw2 Rw2 U2 r2 U2 Rw2 Uw2 as my PLL parity. Worked ok on the 460, but I really hate the 1x2 corner cutting of the cube, which affects OLL parity and an adjacent PLL parity alg. I ranked the 460 as 4th best, after WuQue (3rd), New batch mini AoSu (2nd), and AoSu GTS (1st) and definitely excited to try out the mini WuQue, especially since you said it's different and slightly flimsier, I find the original too stiff and blocky, would probably take over my #2 or #3 spot.

I got a mf3rs 2 about 3 months ago it’s very good, But I dropped it one time and it had no problems but it was dropped again a few times by my friends and like the white centre piece popped out and all the prices scattered all over the place . Now the white centre keeps coming out whenever I turn the cube fast . Like the screw which is turned into the groove just comes out l,nothing’s broken the screw and groove is loose and if we pull the centre it just comes right out. Anybody know how to fix this
Yes wuque is the best on the market but no doubt that this cube is still great and if you want the wuque I think you can get the full size version now now think you can only get the mini

Learn algs related to t perk like the N,J,F perms, a perm and e perm is east and you can learn a new v perm which is easy for you and then learn g perm cycles and r perm
I actually really liked this cube back then when wuque was only good, the magnets are strong while it’s very fast, u just need to turn a bit more accurate, yes the wuque is smoother and had better cornercuts but I think that matters less than the speed that gan 460 has, I just spend extra effort on turning accurately and it works great, I average faster on this cube than wuque back then because I get to practice more, wuque I can only practice for like 7 solves before my fingers are tired, also I like the design and the size and the longer edges, really cool
oh snap, I just watched your 2017 top 5 cubes video, but I am still stuck on what cube to buy. There are so many flip side comments. could you or anyone in the comments please recommend a 3x3 cube, I do not mind spending up to $40 my current $7 cube is small, plasticy, locks and sucks, I bought it to learn how to solve the cube as part of my bucket list, i am just starting to understand the cube and i need something with a better quality feel, smooth, sturdy, cool looking. i have no preference for cube performance yet, so just recommend one that you think was great value for money, can last a while for example the stickers not falling off in my bag, no lock, decent smoothness, not so clicky :p Also i was wondering if there were any cubes with cool faces and finishes, like shiny, unique color schemes instead of the common colors. great videos you really helped me learn when i first started.
a good cube out of the box is gts2m or supernova mf3rs2 m. the gts3m is good but people have mixed opinions on it and it has ridges which you may or may not like. for different finishes, the shengshou gem line of cubes feels different on the outside, not sure how to describe but my $350 unboxing has one if you want to see. the mgc and valk power both have different internal plastic
I have only owned a rubix brand before but I really like my Valk 3. Nice mix of speed and stability. I also paid all of 18 dollars for it. As for stickers and shades hit up speed cube shop. You can buy sticker sets in what ever color combos you want. Mix and match make a custom set if you want.

Managed to do it too but sometimes it's hard to fit it in.
I got this 4 my birthday and it was a huge improvement from my other 4x4 which was equivalent to a loose Rubik’s brand 3x3.
The guy literally solved a 4x4 in the smae same time that my 3x3 average is. RESPECT

The COLL on the 2nd last solve really helped as wide moves in 4x4 are slow

What lube did you use to lube a 4x4?
I orders a gan 3x3 from wish and the logo rubbed off in a couple weeks. It looks pretty real but idk if it is.
If you know much about squan, you should do a CSP tutorial because your tutorials are the best and I only understand your tutorials.
