I love that chiclets can be a force of change in hockey for stuff like this. Mainstream media never covered stuff like this. It's a welcome change from the usual "insiders" and players do mention that they listen in and enjoy it.
I'm not too invested in this particular matter but what I found kinda funny was seeing some people on Twitter that were all for demanding changes in "hockey culture" on behalf of the players, particularly the younger ones who might not want to rock the boat, instantly dismiss this to bad-talk Chiclets/ PB.

The conversational/locker-room talk style of this pod may lead to some negativity. Granted. But the arguments aren't wrong. I think that the Chiclets boys are trying to share the real takes, but as always, also have a little levity and some humour in their delivery. That needs to be seriously considered here. Clearly Babcock isn't without controversy, and he is a very polarizing coach. But now he's resigned. Even if you had a squeaky clean record and you don't have this long resume of how you speak to players, bullying allegations and have sus tactics, its not surprising he's out.
It may not be the media-trained, best delivery of the story, but the boys are outlining a real issue where a dinosaur coach isn't suited to coach in 2023 NHL.

@@RawdiswarBench Chelios the entire game during 2009 winter classic in Chicago, his home town. Played 2 shifts in the first, and Babs just sat him for the rest of the game for no reason.
Not even a good coach. Won in Detroit (only once, could've been alot more) and with Team Canada with all-time great lineups. Rode JS Giguere to the SCF in 2003. When he led a young team that needed real coaching in Toronto, he shat the bed.
He was also petty in Sochi too - he barely played Subban, the reigning Norris winner. Would love to see tough questions asked about that too. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he's racist to go along with his other upstanding qualities.

Babcock has a history of being manipulative and weird so I'm leaning towards Biz's side. Boone Jenner and Gaudreau both denied it but of course they're going to, they don't want to throw their new coach under the bus.
Kadri also denied it. It's almost like the guys who are friends with Commodore and who hates Babcock made up a story to start the rumor mill.
