On the 12/05/24, 3265 & 3526 hauled a double header excursion run up to Mount Victoria with 4501 assisting up the grades around the Blue Mountains.

theres a reason to why every caboose & break van was eventually decommissioned on railways, another engine just provides better breaking power, it also means a train can head the other way without turning around.
