I've painted up the Polish from the kick starter and a Prussian army as well. Once you you get the paint on them they look great. I have Kurasan pike and shot, their details are excellent. I'm going to build my Swedish force using them. This is such an interesting period in history, I'm very excited to game it.
@@bloodyswordsvids4463 yes I have painted Polish and Ottoman armies from the Wargamer PL ranges and they turn out fine, but the process can be frustrating
A useful review. I completely agree with your thoughts on how the quality of the miniatures affects the ease (and pleasure) of painting them. I have the Polish and Ottoman skirmish sets (from the kickstarter) and have put off painting them due to a first glance at the quality. I also don't think they will mix too well with my Essex figures so will probably base them as a standalone matched pair of Pikemens Lament forces.
Looks nice!
Hope you have a great holiday. Cheers! :)
this looks like a pretty cool set
Looks real good

This is a great review Corvinus! I appreciate it since I have been interested in picking up some fire and sword stuff for my 30 Years War Imperials
@@mitchsminis thanks Mitch. The BFS Imperial sets look like a good deal, hope they will rerelease them soon
Hayırlı olsun Hocam.

If I didn’t have so many minis in my collection of opportunities I would pick up a couple sets of fire and sword

@@theDexMcHenry you can get them to paint up nicely but the details are a little irritating to paint on some of the sculpts
