- I wasa delivered an abandoned 2007 BMW k1200gt motorcycle. Had unknown problems. Owner apparently moved and had no forwarding info. These bikes arent really worth a ton of money and they probably cost a fortune to fix. So, with that being said, I am gonna see if it will even run and see If It's something I even wanna mess with. Might make a good parts bike maybe?
One of the nicest most comfortable motorcycles I’ve ridden. Sits nicely on the road touring, cruise control saves my licence. Good touring storage. All made for a great Sydney to Hobart return trip.
@@MrPeterm14 that's awesome!!
Why would you Rev bomb-it when it’s been sat idle for a long time.
I did that for 3 reasons. One, I knew it would handle it, two because if something did mess up, I can fix it, and three because I wanted to. If I had any clue that something WOULD happen, I wouldn't have done it. Plus, if it can't handle that, which was no where near the redline, its not gonna last with the new owner
Lol, I thought exactly the same thing. Maybe that will make it run better. Ultimate endurance test! 🤣
Side stand sensor
Thanks, thats what I found d with Google also. Ill check that out
I would be completely angry that some fool dropped the bike during delivery.
@@opsecalpha yea. It sucks.
I actually found out this is a 2008. So it should easily be worth 5 to 6 k more now. And since it has a bluetooth title, that too, will add another couple grand. Fantastic find !!
kickstands down lol
I found that out later in video. You wasn't the only one to make that comment. Haha
Clutch is bad
It was the sensor. Clutch was fine. I was a dummy and had the side stand down. It won't go until its in the up position.
I own the same bike
A problem nest .... 😑
Thats what I figured this thing would be. I just want it to run and drive and then sell it as a parts rig to somebody. I'm not a motorcycle rider at all. I'd much rather have 4 wheels under me. Or at least 3. Hahaha
