The steering is used for left and right control then what keyboard used for ??
If it use for brake and race then brake is done by space bar ...
You can program the keyboard in options;)

Very COOL, i will try it
That's a cool idea, but I think using a wiimote (specially the motion plus one) for the steering tracking would have worked better. All you'd need to do is use a key mapper (glove pie) and translate the yaw motion to mouse movement. It would be more accurate and cut down on wires (works on bluetooth), plus it gives the wheel some heft and you could even implement the rumble, speaker and buttons for honking or what other needs you may have. :)
