Naomi Talking Money Thanks for sharing! Do you have to own a lot of furniture to be leaving them in houses for a full month? Do you know Chip or Joanna?
@@DanielIles I actually have met Chip and Joanna (our kids were in preschool together several years ago) but hardly know them. I have staged a property for their real estate wing Magnolia Real Estate. In terms of inventory, I rent a lot of the large pieces from local rent-to-own stores. However I have several thousand dollars worth of art, linens and accessories that I bring to all the properties. Thanks for asking!
If looking for buy and hold cashflowing rental properties - I think Winnipeg has the GTA beat. If flipping - either market has potential - but again the Peg has a much low entry point for pricing.
What's the minimum amount of cash needed to be able to join in on a JV deal for someone that's looking to get started but not heavily experienced and looking to get my foot in the door and learn? Trying to find out a reasonable sum to save in order to make this happen.
I'm amazed by this every time I see it, and I ask this question every single time. So far I haven't received a single satisfactory answer. Why would you buy a fridge with freezer on top if it gets significantly less usage compared to the main compartment? Now you have to bend your back every time you take stuff from the lower part of the main compartment, which may happen on a daily basis, just because of that freezer which you don't use all that much. Can anyone, please, explain?
I am a home stager in Waco Texas. (Facebook and Instagram at wacohomestaging.) Always so glad to see flippers using staging to sell properties! It works!
Always great to learn from other investors, and different markets! Especially when we can take the strategies and bring them to our own city.
100% Agree!
Hey! Let me know next time you're in Winnipeg, we could do a meetup.
I live in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba 🇨🇦
Thank you Matt Mckeever and Damon the video has lots of gold nuggets.👍🏻
Thanks Noel!
Really enjoyed that flip Video, please keep it up sir!
Thanks Don! We'll be having more flip videos coming out in the future.
How much do you pay to stage a house? Do you outsource or keep the same inventory?
I am a home stager in Waco Texas and I charge $1,000 for a typical 3 bedroom 2 bath for 30 days. Waco Home Staging

Do you use any property management software? Have you been able to automate a lot of tasks?

Maybe it works, if you're shorter.
Great video Matt!
Thanks Austin!
Finished my first flip in San Diego. Bought it for 450K and now it’s on market for 650K. Put a little more than expected into it.

Yosef Fisher check yelp for stagers/designers and get quote.

Thanks for watching & commenting!
So 60k of profit (minus deal expenses). Not bad.
But house itself is just a hole, imho. But idk how good the neighborhood is
