This video just made me sooo happy! I love your video! Oh and I said a couple months ago one of your videos scared me about my first goat’s impending birth, She delivered and had three, the first was stuck and I was able to help her with it because of your videos and time you’ve spent teaching. Thank you❤!
Congratulations!! That's one of my biggest goals. To help give confidence to other goat keepers. I never would have been brave enough to keep goats if it wasn't for some lovely goat folks on this platform! So happy for you, congrats again!
Lots of prayers for everyone in path of storms! Gardens are looking great for spring prep, the little flutter flags going away does make it cleaner but they were pretty in their own way too. Always love seeing the goats, it's so funny how they sort of ripple back and forth between the pasture and the barn. Reminds me a little of watching pools of fish move in the ocean on those kinds of shows too. Back and forth, hehee. They know the barn is "safe" so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. Excited for Breezy's kidding, but definitely hope it comes at a good time vs mid-storm. 💚💚
Praying you guys stay safe. We’re getting hit hard up here in central KY! Hopefully no goat births or shelter visits for you during this nasty front coming thru!
Sooooo… the next time I need cattle panels I may get Levi to help me. I may or may not have busted the brake light on top of the cab of my truck last time I moved them 😄. Random farm chore days are fun!
Easter Sunday Helena acting different I moved her into kidding area and she escaped. Being a first freshener I thought maybe was mistaken. Put her back in the big field she was trying to get back into. Well couple hours later she was very vocal and yellow drainage. Went out into the big field and saw correct presentation but stuck. Pushing with no success. I pulled that baby and 5 seconds later a breech birth with no problems. Got her out of that field and into kidding pen storm with thunder and lightening. The goats seem to pick the worst weather to kid. I bought my baby buck for next years breeding. He has to be bottle fed. Follows me around all day. He is beautiful 😍 Getting plenty of milk!
You have a beautiful place. Lots of beautiful goats. We here in Michigan are getting rain oh did I say rain yes rain. Thank you for sharing. Till next time, God Bless.
When the power company works on the trees on our road I ask for the mulch and they are very happy to give it to me. It saves them from driving distances to dump the mulch.
Love the feeding of Winnie and Coal. What a huge difference a bottle makes! Here in middle Georgia all of our snakes are waking up and making their presence known! So far it’s been black snakes which are good but something to always be aware of when walking through pastures and by ponds like we have out here ✌️🤍
Love the last bit of the goats running. So cute. Thoughts and prayers to you all. Thank you for sharing. Love and Blessings to you all. ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏 Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
Loving your video's and seeing what you are doing in your farm. I came across your channel yesterday and absolutely adore your Goat Herd. Seeing you interact with the little kids and the bigger goats is just amazing!! I am so eagerly waiting and excited to see when Breezy has her babies. Thank you, for sharing your farm experience and I cannot wait to see what you will be planting in your garden. From: Central Pennsylvania❤
You might try overseeding the pastures with cover crops like peas, beans, oats, barley, sunflowers ect. Whatever you think they might eat better than the grass.
Nice > No more old Tomatoes ties. @4:53 > I know it's such a little thing.... but that does looks So Much Better and Tidy. Spring prep. after a long winter. Garden > It is so much easier to 'unclutter' and clean up the area, Before the Garden is planted / growing and you run out of time. (I bet you are never bored... Haha.)
I loved when they were flowing you. They sounded like if they were talking to each other.❤❤❤❤❤
I'm sure they were! LOL!
My favourite little Tori is ever faithful. That makes me happy. I love it when you take them out. Lucky Herdswoman! 😂❤
It's so awesome to join them out in the pasture! They really seem so happy out in the open.
Oh, that greenhouse is going to be so nice!!

So far so good, I just let her out of the stall for the worst of the storm and she's still the same!
They are so pretty running around the farm!😊
I love seeing them enjoying the space!!
good place, good garden 😊
So cute 😊
TY Heather. Love this time of year. Eagerly awaiting new babies!

The worst is yet to come!
We have been having new power poles put in lately too. So power is going off every few weeks for several hours. I love your little pond area.
I love how the goats follow you ❤️❤️
Me too!! 😍🐐

Yes he would be happy to help!!
We have broom sedge as well. The sheep nibble it a little better than my goats, but it’s not their favorite either.
And I love the fast forward. Wish I could work that fast 😅
LOL right?!
Lovely walking around the pond and pastures! Blessings on your day Kiddo! 🌻🐛Carolyn in Ohio 🌿

Wow congrats!! What a whirlwind!!!
That's a nice big area for them if they aren't too scared to go into it! You'll have to start taking daily walks with them to the pond.

Darn bad weather! Stay warm up there!
Hey, again...NO EATING Boss Lady. LOL

We live in big ag country and the roadsides are sprayed.
We used that same raised bed soil last year and really liked it. Hello from a fellow Kentuckian :)
Hello there! Really glad to hear you loved it! It's a great price considering it's organic!!

Goats are so funny! I just loved them going back and forth, ha! Breezy's so close!
It's funny to watch!
Absolutely adorable visit with the goats! Hoping we'll soon (after any storms) have new Breezy babies to look at and coo over. LOL

Hello and welcome to the channel!! Glad to have you :)
Omg! those babies are adorable
❤❤❤
Does Buster ever go out with them in the pastures, to "keep" an eye on them?
No he stays on the perimeter or else he will dig out.
Ligaments have failed me multiple times!!
Same!! So far nothing!
How are the rabbits doing? Do you raise quail? I love watching goats. I could do that ALL day.❤🐇🐐do you have chickens?
Hello! Rabbits are all good, we lost a whole litter born on the wire but that happens sometimes. We do have quail and chickens :)
@SageandStoneHomestead oh no, that stinks. I'm sorry to hear that. Sorry, that was a scatter brained comment. Can't wait to see Breezys kids.
You might try overseeding the pastures with cover crops like peas, beans, oats, barley, sunflowers ect. Whatever you think they might eat better than the grass.
In order to get them out there? They do go out there over time when it grows :)
@@SageandStoneHomestead It would also add diversity to your pastures and help improve the soil
Finally got to watch this!!!! Hope she’s ready soon. Along with the ligaments going soft so do their tails. They become very wobbly. Has she done that
No not yet! ♥
Good grief!!!! She looks ready on camera. She’s being a stinker. Waiting on live barn
I can't wait to start that stream! Probably waiting for the coldest night this week which is tomorrow night I think. 33 degrees
Maybe if you carry the container of animal cookies with you they might follow you out to the back pasture... ;) a little bribery wouldn't hurt...lol
That's a great idea!! 🤣

You are right! There is always something to do!
Your gourds are so cool 😎 Did you grow those?
Yes!! Birdhouse gourds!+
I swear animals always wait for the worst weather to give birth in. Hopefully she'll wait it out for you.
She did! Now I'm betting she will kid during the cold night we have coming up!
