- This is the gold standard for fang owners. Contrary to popular belief, you do NOT need the sun to achieve 400s! For consistency, I used the exact same setup and inventory as in the 300 and 350 videos. As you can see, 400s are about 3-4 mins slower than 350s, but with a 50% higher drop chance.
If you don't like the idea of running NHN and having to potentially use ambrosia as a prayer restore mechanism, you can instead enable diet, enable haste, and downgrade to NSH. I prefer bandages over brews though

With this kind of gear, I'd say that this is the minimum RL you should aim for (for mains and ironmen alike). Anything below 400 is kinda trolling for personal purple chance. Of course, you can work your way up from 300 to 400 over time, but don't settle for less!
this is exactly the way to offput new players. making them feel like what they're doing and achieving feel like nothing. even if it takes a while to get 250s down they're going to have the thought of "anything below 400 is kinda trolling".

@@krokkrok4066 that's fair criticism, but I posted a 300 and a 350 video in the same setup so that you can start with the same inv/gear and work your way up basically. 250 is fine too, just start somewhere and keep pushing higher. Anything below 400 is kinda bad LONG-term but obviously it's not something that happens overnight! I started with 150s myself and took about 50 raids to get up to 400 slowly. Prob could have phrased it better but the idea is "don't settle for less, keep pushing yourself higher"

If anyone reads this. Do whatever inv you can manage comfortably. Even if it's just 150. Also don't use the hardcore invocation until you start pushing above 400. Soft core is only 10 less points and let's you actually finish your 30 to 40min raid instead of losing it.
I got 2 of my shadow solos in sub 400 (a 275 and a 350) . Anything 150 and above has a purple chance. Trying to do a raid invo that's beyond your ability Wil cause you to waste time and money planking. It's better to just do what you can comfortably. People shit on me for not doing insanity for ages. I can do 500s now, but I wasted a lot of time dying at wardens because I went for insanity too early. I only really got comfy with insanity after hundreds of raids doing overclocked 2 to the point where it got boring. I also practiced skull skipping there for extra points.

Thanks! It definitely took some practice, and I'm still improving daily. I'd say you can definitely do the 400s with some practice but ramp it up slowly! As for noodling on p4, that does happen though technically the lightning is all dodgeable. It's annoying being on the last row for 1+ min though, I sympathize
Just avoid insanity for a while then. When you can calmly do overclocked 2 perfectly without getting hit you can add it. It sucks to plank at wardens and lose the whole raid.

Lol yea it wasn't worth it. Honestly the play there was to just go for redemptions the second I got knocked below 10 but I was trying to save restore for Wardens XD
Oh jk was out of restore. Then yea prob should have just used the brew to bring myself to safe threshold tbh. Or flick the healing attacks properly, Zebak was level 3 not 1 so it's always off-tick from autos. Was too scared to risk mis-flicking and throwing the raid haha
@@Parasailer Haha fair. I actually gave this setup a shot but swapped out NHN for NLH and something else. can barely hit on baba and kephrii lmao. Not maxed cb tho so thats prob the issue but 300s-350 go very smoothly
@@imbesrs Honestly I'm not personally a big fan of NLH since there's a decent chance you get the same 1b 1r as the NHN, but if you prefer it for the chance at more supplies then makes sense! Also tbh even at max cb I find 350s so much easier than 400, tho I'm sure the stats help a lot XD

I did money 350s until fang, basically same setup but hasta instead of fang and I brought keris partisan for Kephri. Bring like 5 brews so that you can last, and obviously no More Overlords without fang at Kephri

Hey, i usually do solo 300s and when i get single salt chaos, i run out of salt effect at p4 and i die because my dps is crap with bofa. What do i do. I see u use preserve just when salt was about to end. Is there any specific time to turn on preserve?
Hey! Yeah, I just turn on Preserve with around 30-45 seconds left. That's a bit early (you can even turn it on at around 15s left), but I might forget if I don't so that's when I usually do it. Bowfa DPS does suck if BGS misses but wcyd, no tbow yet :)

14:38 I struggle so hard to recognize Ahkah’s spec animation while also being efficient on a gear switch AND be cognizant of the color order. Any tips besides just being good? 😂
The "Radius Markers" helps me a lot because it tells me what style Akkha is using. I have the combat triangle memorized from Vanguards in Chambers of Xeric, so I tend to go off of that. As for gear switching, I didn't do the best job in this video. A good way to start is to do a 2-4 way switch first, attack the boss, and then complete the rest of the 7-way switch and click on the boss again. When starting out it's good to prioritize overheads first, but eventually you can actually swap offensive prayers, gear, and click boss before actually changing overheads a couple ticks later.
As for his special attack animation, he actually does specials every 7th auto-attack, similar to Vorkath. He'll do 6 autos, and then he'll do a special as the 7th attack. Again, similar to Vorkath, he'll alternate: one will be orbs, one will be memories, then orbs, then memories, etc. The very first special attack of the fight is random, also like Vorkath. Counting is helpful!

Is it worth 3-down p2? And what are your invos? Clean run i think ill aim for 400s too!
This is a hot take, but I think 2-down is better pre-shadow. I did the math on this, and my 2-down runs are 36 mins and 9.12% purple chance. When I did 3-down instead, it took 37 mins and 9.32% purple chance. This works out to 0.152 purples/hr vs 0.151 purples/hr, so they're very similar. However, the 2-down requires me to use fewer restores at Wardens, which makes NHN much less tight! After shadow I think 3-down is better since you don't take 1 min for the third down, so purples/hr goes up

Is this viable without Cox prayers? I'm currently running 350s with similar gear on my ironman & seem to struggle to get below 40m (I do choose to 3 down & skull skip though for this reason).
Good question! Honestly not sure; I already had Rigour and Augury when ToA was released, so I've never done raids with EE and Mystic Might. I suspect it's still doable but it'll be a bit harder because your DPS will be lower on p4. It's probably mostly fine since the majority of the ranging is Zebak, p3, p4. Zebak and p3 are no damage ideally, but p4 being slower may make the last row harder. In terms of making time you probably have to do 2-down + kill skulls is my guess, but maybe not?

@@tylerdavies2362 Dragon claws also work, I just don't have them sadly. ZCB also works, and honestly I'd say is even better than Voidwaker
what plugin is it that has the outline around all the npc's and baba boulders? i use npc indicator but i can only find a setting for a single named npc to be highlighted.
There's a variant of that plugin on the Plugin Hub called "Better NPC Highlight". In that plugin, you can set the highlight style per-NPC/item/object! Hope that helps :)
I've got max range and mage but 95/97/82 combat. with the same gear as you would I be able to complete a 400?
Yeah definitely, just make sure to check your max hits for strength to ensure you can do the 2-down. Should be fine tho I think!
How do you get thralls to be highlighted like that? I hide them with entity hider but not sure how to only outline their hull like that
"Better NPC Highlight" plugin. Use the "outline" option and use the IDs 10880, 10883, 10886 for the three diff thrall types
Very respectable raid. Sadly because of my unstable ass internet i avoid insanity and hardcore. So i usually do around 330-350
Relatable, I play on wifi and frequently have lag/ping spikes. Inferno was super aids, took me 90+ attempts with lots of deaths due to prayers not going off in time. Good luck
since i redx baba every run,do you think itd be beneficial to do zkab room order while using the same set of invos?
I think BKAZ is still better because B benefits less from the salt compared to Z (SCB pre-pot gives you 19/26 of the boost but ranging pre-pot only gives you 13/26). Not sure though, I haven't really tried red-x but I see why it makes sense (you won't take damage at Baba so you can get away with 1-salt preserve)
Btw re: the other comment -- I think haste + NSH is fine if you also use On a Diet, but that does make p1 a lot more annoying IMO. Up to you, I found this setup to be far more comfortable cuz 2x orbs on p1 is pretty annoying. For consistent sub-40, what's the main hold-up? Is it lack of gear, lack of CoX prayers, or maybe a big diff between challenge time and total time? I think red-x Baba could be losing you like 60 seconds too. Try out some diff strategies, I'm sure you could prob get it to like 37-38 mins average! Happy to chat more on Discord if you want to go over specifics

I have full Masori in the bank as well, but sadly I think bowfa is still better. If you have a twisted bow then that Masori setup with tbow + ZCB is really good though. ZCB really excels on Zebak, p1, p3, p4. Just ZCB alone is gonna be miserable though

It's called "Radius Markers" -- I use it to tag the ranger overlord in Kephri too so that I know where to stand at the end

I think the plugin is called "ToA Modern"? You can set it to block whatever you want on both the first spirit as well as the second spirit! e.g. could have it show 2x power as well

Oh I have torm/feros but fitting those is pretty aids when you need to bring extra brews due to no sun. After I got sun I dropped from 4b to 1b and was able to fit both switches + 1 extra ppot easily. Dragon defender instead of avernic is because I'm a noob with like 10 ToB kc XD

22:15 reminds me of the time my clan mate showed me OpenOSRS plugins for Phosanis on Discord. It showed him exactly which tiles to click on before anything rendered on his sreen. Kinda sus that you knew exactly where to click and clicked inside of 8 squares..... and then out to the left before the left side had rendered too. You say you practice a lot but you had 60 KC here and you play like you don't understand how the toxins work on Zebak.... I learned that at 5 KC....
