Have the sofa carbon fiber on my 2022 recently riding over 3500 mls on five days no mayor complain. The seat was bit hard and wife complain is narrow than stock while the tour pack back rest have more back support. Much better after breakdown.
Everyone has a different opinion on the break down period. But I’m glad it worked out for you. Saddlemen makes a great product. I’m actually looking at trying a step up seat from them on my ‘12 Ultra. They have done right by me. I’ll sing their praises all day long. Thanks for watching!!!!
Love my Road Sofa, went all in with back rest and heated options. As I get older I will pay for comfort. It does raise me up about 7/8” and sets me backs an inc and a half from the stock Indian Rogue seat on the19 Chieftain. With my 29” inseam that caused a bit of relearning my rider triangle. I’ve got a little over 3k miles and it just gets more comfortable. We do a lot of 600-800 mile days and a solid, quality seat is imperative. I was a mustang guy for ever, however the road sofa has made change to Saddleman. Ride safe.😊
This seat changed my riding experience for the better. Thankful for that Road Sofa. Curious, did the back rest push you forward at all? Thinking of upgrading to a backrest, but can’t loose the space.
@@Ride.w.Purpose no, it doesn’t. It is adjustable as to “lean” forward and back - within a range. I keep mine slightly forward to help me remember to sit up straight 😏 I have the CF version as well - wanted the diamond stitch with read stitching, however every I read about that version said the soaked up water, and I ride in the rain if I have to - I didn’t want to wind up with a water logged seat.
I keep seeing people on these videos saying that their saddlemen Road sofa sets them down an inch from stock. Mine sets me up 2in higher than my stock seat. I don't understand how everybody's is setting them lower
No, I paid full price for this seat and have no affiliation with Saddleman whatsoever. Down the road, I would love to be a reviewer for them. But I paid my hard earned money for the seat and stand behind it 100%.
Saddlemans road sofa is the best long-distance seat that I've found
I agree!! Great seat, great company!
We agree as well, thanks! @walt1748
Great Seats! Have a Road Sofa on my Indian. Enjoy!
Just found the channel, I enjoy it. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!! I appreciate that!!

I will be buying one , I am having same issues with stock seat. I but 1600 miles on in 3 days it was a very painful experience
I love mine! I have yet to find a seat that meets all the measures for me personally.
Thanks for watching!
The Harley seat is a real prostate pounder. I personally like the Mustang Super Touring seat with built-in heat
Down to the road sofa and mustang super touring seat. May come down to a coin flip.
I was in that same spot. I LOVE my Saddlemen. Definitely recommend seeing if you can test one out.
I was there too road sofa in transit for delivery
Mustang will be more cushy but I think firm is better. I think Saddlemen prices are better.
Thanks for the support! @NoMi_Biker
Thank you for making such an amazing product. You have given me the opportunity to extend my riding experience!!
Happy to be a part of your journey@@Ride.w.Purpose

Mine sat me up slightly higher. There is a break in period (they say) so maybe that has something to do with it?
Nice review.
Glad you enjoyed it
Does the carbon hold water like the lattice stitch model?
I have not experienced any moisture issues. The water tends to shed off the material. It doesn’t have e spots to look up.
Great, Thank you.
Do you know if the heated version is plug and play? Thank You
I can only speak for my particular bike. And yes, it is plug-in play.
Since Saddleman is commenting, I’ll ask if they sponsored this and gave you the seat or did you buy it?
