Fixing B201A fault
After the software update, there's a B201A fault stored in the 5F module. You can fix it using the I'm So XORy tool. mib-helper.com/im-so-xory/

Jeden se týká kódů které mám v rádiu - ty které nemám rádiu a jsou v seznamu addFect mám vymazat? Když tam nemám kód pro PERFORMANCE MONITOR tak to na mém rádiu nepůjde zprovoznit?
A druhý dotaz je ohledně VCRN - nevím co to je a kde to moje číslo najít (VIN je jasný, tan jsem přepsal na svůj). Díky za pomoc :-)
@@janantosovsky1592 Áno, tie ktoré nemáš v zozname v rádiu vymaž a tie ktoré chýbajú dopíš.. Takto som to robil ja a všetko funguje. Ešte som tam do akéhosi textového dokumentu dopisoval VIN vozidla..

Many thanks for the video my car Passat 2015 with delphi unit recently had the apple car play function added and along with the others listed here, I have the downloaded the patch onto an sd card but I am wondering if this has already been done by the installer as now have the fec codes displayed plus the green developer screen is now visible, all i am now wanting to do is switch off the cid code so I can use non genuine VW sd cards for the sat nav, can you give me some advice on how to do that?? many thanks Iain

@jurelecnik Hello Jure, i don't know because i think you need a diagnostic tool to see the fault codes, and i don't have one (like OBDEleven). I simply followed the instructions in this video and in the PDF you get with the CongoDuke Tool.

@@jurelecnik Just 2 things that are not very clear in the video: You need to delete the extensions on the VCRN and VIN files (.dummy), so they are just called simply VCRN and VIN! And you need to add the already installed codes (Swap codes) to the list as well. Reply if you have succeded! Good luck

I've got an other question. I n my MST2_EU_VW_P0891D i've got more supported codes then the file. Do i need to add them ?

i think i am clear about the process, but i have one Question: does B201A fault have to be fixed via ODB or can it be ignored? otherwise if my car is at a vw dealer in future will it then become a problem?

I updated to p0883d instead of 0879d w/telnet, so is there any way to downgrade firmware or at least telnet patch 0883d? And if downgrade is possible will the patch be overwritten p0878d=>po883d?

when you edit the addFecs.txt, do you only write the new fecs you want to add? Or do you have to include the ones that are already installed as well.
(i understand you can only add fecs that are supported by the head unit)

@@ahmedtrifi5453 ich gehe davon aus dass es funktionieren wird sollte es auch nicht funktionieren dann schmeißt das System auch das Programm raus. das System erkennt die neue Software automatisch. Dein Auto sollte jedoch ein zweifachen SD Slot haben. Folge diesem Video kannst nichts falsch machen.
Worked Perfectly , with some Changes: memory card 8gb did not worked because the vehicle didn't recognize it cause of error: sd1 not readable, than i took 64 gb card and with exfat Format, worked like a charm! Without that error i just canceled it after two reboots and everything works now, carplay MirrorLink, Android auto and the voice control. Everything else i Had before. For those who are unsure if they just need to put the missing funktion codes : I puted everything in the text document ( everyone in my car that i saw in the swap menu) . I think the 8gb card did not worked because it was a Kingston klass 4. Anyway it worked with exfat and 16 byt format. I wish you the best for this tutorial man!!

@@CPIRASER VCRN und VIN siehst du in dem geheimen Menü auch ! Und die schreib's davon weil bei mir war VIN( Fahrzeugnummer) am ende eine Buchstabe A und in Fahrzeugschein gibt's diese Buchstabe nicht. Also aus Menü schreib's genau das was da steht , in das Menü kommst wenn du lange drückst diese 10 Sekunden taste wie auf dem video

@@CPIRASER du hast in common Ordner VIN , VCRN und addfecs , addfecs ist in Text Datei schon also die bleibt in Text Datei, öffne VIN mit text editor und lösche seine VIN und träge deine ein und speichere es als Text und danach umbenenne und lösche.txt am ende, das gleiche machst mit VCRN

To unlock other functions of the radio, do I also have to enter the codes that I have already activated from the factory, or are only the ones that I want to add additional enough? I recommend to always add the original codes that were added to your radio from factory.

@@sergilopez2870he showed how you see the codes in developer menu bud, long press menu key till it shows up if I remember right. Was in other language so couldn't read the title of some screens but I saw heaps of random numbers that obviously corresponded to factory features. So keep them in the list if you're doing it and take note of all original ones keep them in a text file or something safe I'd imagine. I'll try this after warranty runs out lol. Think my 2020 R final edition has almost option anyway and the larger display so I may not benefit anyway water really want is speed sign recognition in my dash cluster which is done with OBD 11

I can't find my VCRN. The Discover Media multimedia unit does not have developer mode turned on... Do I have to specify it anyway? Where can I get it?
Hold the menu button, go into funtion enabling codes, press any of the codes and it should show

Hi, You need to edit them and put your own car's VIN and VCRN codes in the files. Just follow the PDF manual you get with the CongoDuke activator. You also need to remove the extension of the two files (.dummy).

wireless version is not possible in VW GOLF VII, only in MK8

Dafür ist die Datei ja lade es runter und folge dem Video. Die VIN kannst du mit dem Programm Notepad++ mit deiner eigenen VIN umschreiben.
I can't see a VCRN code for my car. There is no installed FEC codes, so I can't get it from an installed FEC/SWaP. Is there another way to get this?

If you don't overwrite the vcrn, you will get an error message, the fec are all already in the program anyway

Hi @HackingCars I have one doubt. My VCRN has 9 digits/letter and has spaces between: 66 43 66 89 D - similar to this. How should I write it to file? With spaces or as a one string?

@@HackingCars I have found an answer in other place. In addition, if we have 9 digits we have to add 0 to single one. My example: 66 43 66 89 D we have to write as 664366890D (adding 0 before separate D).

No, language is just a "string" translation. It does nothing with firmware.

I known now why it's not working by me. I have a Hartman unit on board 😔 and also a high version. In section supported swap codes are no code to see. Only installed and that's it.

With vcrn you have to overwrite the file with your vcrn, preferably with the notepad++ at Google good program for this.
